Ez iCam

Utter crap. It worked the very first time I used it, now all it says it preview is not supported (even though I already used it and it worked). Now, deleting the app, removing the wifi connection, rebooting the phone and resetting the camera, reinstalling all over again and setting up, still doesn't work. Garbage. Anyone know of another app that will control the Akaso ek7000?

Update.. Seems to work now... Latest update broke using this app with AKASO EK7000 4K. Connection works but when trying to remote to the camera, it puts up a dialog saying this is an unsupported device.

It connects my Xperia X to my Akaso EK7000. but all it does is tell me it's connected. Have emailed support so my review might change if they can solve it. No answer from the developer do they obviously don't care their app does not work

The app is fine but it only connects correctly if you disable the data on your sim card while connecting to the camera. This is a real pain. With data on it seems to connect to the wifi OK but errors/drops when actually using the app. If this were fixed then 5*.

When I first got this app it was working just fine with my EK7000, but since the more recent updates it continues to say that preview is not supported with my camera. I have read other reviews with the same issue. I have contacted support but I'm not expecting much. Hopefully they fix the issue soon.

Tried registering numerous times but I keep getting a "Network Disconnected" Message. From the reviews I've seen I'm not optimistic. In this day and age that is absolutely unacceptable. Hope the camera works better than the App!

Wouldn't work with my Eken h8 pro. When I tried to to scan for the camera it said there were no devices found. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can get it to connect just fine, (try turning off ur data to connect ) but when I load a video onto the app the audio disappears . Does any one have an answer about that pls help

Worked at first. After it updated, never again. The camera is crap as well. Doesn't work in bright sunlight.

Absolutely rubbish,app crashes every time I connect the Akaso cam.I have to take the battery off to be able to switch the dammed thing off.

Useless app. Will connect to Akaso ek7000 byt wont let you do ANYTHING.

Not sure what to think yet. I downloaded the App to my Samsung Tablet and my LG V20 phone. Both tell me it connects to the camera Wi-Fi, but won't let me access the camera. Says it's not supported on the device. Hopefully, there is an update soon that will fix it.

Brutal app. Just read the reviews. Connects to the camera wifi but when you try to access the camera through the app it says "Preview is not supported for this camera." If it does randomly connect (twice) when you try to record a video the app and the camera freeze. You have to reset both and try again.. Can't believe this is the only app for the camera and it was even a selling point! Might actually return the camera because of this.

Doesn't work. Says it's connected then just tells me to turn on my phone's wifi (it is on.) Garbage app to go with a garbage camera.

Possible the worse app I've ever had the displeasure of using. Why bother write it if you're not going to do any QA on it?

Complete junk since update. My Akaso ek7000 won't connect anymore. I get error screen Everytime. Wish I could send it all back.

App does not work with Axon ZTE 7 on Android 7.0. Viewfinder never switches to the phone. Will be returning this to Amazon

Works well with a EKEN H9R and rooted stock 7.1.1 Nexus 6. Remember to TURN OFF cellular data after the wifi connection to the camera. The preview screen will pop up when you hit the "connected" button. MAKE SURE THE CELLULAR DATA IS OFF, in order for this to work! This is app with the H9R has amazing functions and feature for a $45 camera!

Connected to the camera but couldn't find any video or pictures. Basically it doesn't work at all on PixelXL/Android 7. There were no features other than connecting via WiFi that worked (and once connected there was no way of knowing if the connection actually worked.)

This app does work for my LG G4, LG G3 or Nexus 5!! It will let me connect via wifi but as soon as i go to look at my vids or pics it instantly crashes! This is very frustrating!! Fix it!!
