GoTrapping! is an app designed to support the recording and analysis of trapping data. The app allows the trapper to record set type and location and catches made at those sets. Set types, traps, lures, and baits can be added or deleted as needed. Targeted species can also be added and deleted. The app provides the ability to analyze set performance in a variety of ways so that the user can determine the best sets to make for targeted species as well as have a record of catches and sets.
The app is intended to be used in the field so that location can be automatically captured through the devices GPS. When a catch is made, if the app is opened at the catch site, it will also automatically identify the set using the GPS so that data can be recorded quickly and accurately.
The trapper can use the app to assist with inventory of traps by type and size.

This app need to have a "set edit" option in the map pop-up. It also needs to have a potential set option that doesn't require set type and trap info. With a few changes it could be an amazing app.

I can't change the type of trap or size. If this was fixed I might actually be able to use it which I would really like to do for this season. And that would be on the main adding set button. Because I can add one on the manual set but not the automatic.

Crashes whenever you try and make a set. Note 5. Installed on wife's phone, didn't work. Installed on buddy's phone, did not work. Do not spend money on this. Need a refund.

It's easy to customize but it won't show my location on the map. It says no data is available for the mapping function. My location is turned on and even tried to restart my phone without success

Seems like a really good app, can't wait to use it this season. Only thing I wish you could do is mark things other then sets. Say I found a beaver house, and I wanna mark it so when trapping season comes I can go right back to the same spot.

I saw this app and decided to purchase a Android Tablet to try on my trap line this year. Recording my inventory of traps, baits, and lures was easy. I also recorded the types of sets I make such as urine post, bone set, dirt hole and the like. I deleted all the animals that are not in my local area and recorded the ones that are. I only wish that I could view my information on my desktop.

Had it on my old fone had a bunch of sets scouted. I got it on my new fone and it won't let me Mark scouted spots. Is there a reason why it's not letting me mark em? It says there is no data available for the mapping function

Eliminates the use of 3 tablets that always get wet then have to worry about pages falling out. Great app

Won't show scouted spots. I press and hold to mark the spot and the icon comes up to add data for the potential set. I add what I want, hit save, it says saved, then it reverts back to the map but nothing is there. When I make a set it says it's pulled and when I hit cancel pull and save it doesn't make a difference. Starting to wish I hadn't downloaded this.

I was really looking forward to using this app this fur season....nothing works, the pull downs to select dif species,sets,lures, etc don't work properly. I cant even get it past "no selection". Every time I turn my phone it forecloses, I haven't been able to use it not 1 time. Disappointed to say the least..... I give it 1 star on the concept alone. Good idea, now just make it work.

The app works great it used it for several years now it is a great tool. The best part is the trap inventory it's very easy to see how many set's you have out and really shines when it comes time to pull sets. The trap go right back to the inventory give it a try I don't think you will be disappointed.
