About Iris+
This application is an alternative to the official Iris mobile application. This app requires that you have an Iris™ connected home system & sign up at https://www.irisbylowes.com. This application is in no way affiliated with Lowes or Iris by Lowes and is provided without any warranty. Because of this, it is possible that this application may stop working at anytime there is a change of Iris backend by Lowes. This is one of the risks of using a third party application which provides functionality without an official API by the service provider.
Note: This application works with Iris version 2.0.
Free version lets you view the dashboard and history, control your switches locks, thermostat and irrigation devices. Paid version unlocks all of the other features below:
Devices with temperature, status and more
Presence, including ability to use your mobile device as a keyfob (requires Lowes Premium service)
Get notified when devices disconnect
Get notified when devices have low battery
Get notified when your hub firmware is updated
Get notified when Iris platform is upgraded
Get notified when device signal goes to 0
Custom rules triggered by IFTTT or Tasker (requires Lowes Premium service to run Scenes)

For everyone complaining about this app, it may be the only good thing to happen to this system. I can actually troubleshoot my issues with actual data and not repetitive YouTube videos and a 3 hour wait for customer service. I have not been able to get root access to the hub but this is for next best thing to actually making it work

In this app it says I have no thermostat, but I have one connected. Also, do you have any instructions anywhere? How do I add a mobile device as a presence sensor? How do I run IFTTT?

Very limited in what you can do unless you pay. Can't even view the device list let alone do anything with it. Can't test rule or scene creation and other features that will surely make this app a must have.

I have no issues with the Lowe's Iris app. This app just showed up when I searched for it so I gave it a go. It's okay. Clunky interface. Nuts and bolts. No material design. It's not something I expect from Lowe's, but I do from an independent dev. Not an elegant solution by any means. The Lowe's app is, however, and it's free. Uninstalled for now. Reply from devs shows class and gives me hope for a great Lowe's app alternative.

I don't like that i can't lock out the security controls from the dashboard. I like to leave all other controls available without having to enter a pin every time. Anyone could break into my house and disable the alarm from any of my tablets. I can lock it out from the menu, but not dashboard. Fix this and i will give 5 stars

I'm a newer user of the Lowe's Iris system. The stock app is decent, but it lacks some customization. Iris+ allow for more functions, customization and even voice control in the paid app.
