About Exercise Cadence Timer

The Exercise Cadence Timer helps you accurately time your reps. (Repetitions). We all have a tendency to rush our sets, even if we have a spotter counting for us. When following a workout routine where time under stress is important, this inaccurate timing cheats us.

The Exercise Cadence Timer beeps at one second intervals and plays a different sound at the top of each rep. and the bottom of each rep. When doing something like a 5 second up, 2 second down cadence, the app makes it easy to keep track of where you are without having to look at the screen.

When following a workout routine like Occam's Protocol where you are doing a 5 second up, 5 second down cadence, you'll be amazed by just how long 5 seconds is.

Again, the Exercise Cadence Timer counts down the amount of time for both up (i.e. lifting) and down (i.e. lowering) rhythms of an exercise. It beeps at one second intervals and plays a different sound notification depending on the change of direction.

This would be great and a 5 star if u can make a customized timer of when it ends. (Like I only want 8 reps of cadence this session) If also u can incorporate a computer saying the number of cadence instead of beeps.

Simple perfect rep speed counter just wish it had breaks for sets with at least one different sound

S70%
by S####:

Makes a sound every second that ticks by which gets irritating and the sounds marking the top and bottom of the rep are unnecessarily prolonged where a simple two different toned beeps for top and bottom would suffice.

M70%
by M####:

PROS: Dead simple interface;Allows custom cadence; Sounds differ for eyes-free use; FREE!!! ; Little permissions required. CONS: Major one is sounds ought to go thru media > notifications because the latter can't be muted to outside world with headphones in which is a no-no in public gyms or anywhere really; minor one is can't save custom cadence settings though its so simple and user friendly that is not a biggie to select at app open everytime. CONCLUSION: Simple approach, customizable, small size. A-
