Terrible how is this even supposed to replicate what a violin sounds like?

THIS IS HORRIBLE

Finally one that acts something like a violin. I've tried a lot of other virtual violin's on here with a simple tune I tried to copy, & this came closest in note sustain & sound quality. (It also understood a hammer-on which a lot don't). Obviously there's lots of things it can't replicate (a bow to control certain notes would've been nice) but is impressive.

Its good. But can you please remove that annoying "tick" sound when you press the first key you need to play? It distracts me so much after a long pause and starting the song again with that "tick" before the note was played.

I play the viola and I love how you can choose to play violin, viola, cello, or bass. The app sounds off, but for the most part it's great. It helps when I need to quickly remember songs on the go. However, if you don't play in real life, I don't recommend using it.

There is slight pause between notes that are spaced far apart (even if already holding down w other hand). Also wondering how to get quick bow strokes eg up & down on same note

This app is horrible my son downloaded this app to play a song and as a violin player he was absolutely appalled at the results of this so called violin app! Deleting from my device...its THAT bad! To HELL with this app!????

Worst violin app in the world it does not even make the right noise and its hard to control dont waste your time worst app

Being a real violinist this is not like a violin. Don't expect it to make beuatiful music like a real violin. Because nothing can replace a real violin. But it is great. It's simple, and has all the features a real violin has.

Apparently all violins sound virtual. The controls are terrible. I play violin and this feels like playing a song on dog poop.

It's a great app, really useful for violinists that want to remember melodies "on the go". Nevertheless, there are 2 major features missing: 1. There should be a bigger tablet mode so we can play the higher notes in the strings. Right now in tablet mode/view, the fingerboard is still way too short to play any famous piece. So, please, add a new larger view of the violin, zoomed out to play higher notes. 2. The open string note is confusing, it looks like another note. The design should be different.

Been playing violin since 2nd grade, And this doesn't work, sound, or does anything like a real violin. And the notes only go to 4 not 6. And most of the note are too high or low. So I wish I could give 0 stars

Erin Ramay--I don't know if you'll see this, but hit the menu button. This app includes viola, violin, cello, and bass. Hope this helps. Multi touch on the same string would be great, to allow for tapping and sliding. Dev, if you get bored, feel free to make a hammered dulcimer app, as you seem to be the only one who can do these things correctly. I only gave five stars because that's all the system would allow me to.

Love the app, its sound is great to make my compositions i am greatful for such an app, is it possible to make the neck a little longer? I would like to have more tones to work with in each instrument, transposing the music is a real pain. Thanks again! Keep up the great work!

I play the violin this game helps me and there is other instruments!just wanted to see full instruments. Oh yeah thanks that its only 6 mega bites saves a lot. I'm a kid so don't think I'm an actual violinist.

Seriously stop complaining about the game it might not be the best game ever but could you just say that it is not as good as I thought or it's not that cool. I loooooove violin it makes me feel like I am going to fall asleep

Thankfully this app is free, because it completely fails. I was able to play each string once and that was it. No more sound after that. Pathetic waste of my time.

I can't play anything other than G, D, A, and E strings! Also, this violin is out of tune! It sounds more like it's a synthesized violin than a real one.

I thought it will teach us how to play violin cause my cpusin has violin she plays the violin and I told her about this game she said dont play this I t doesnt even teach you

As a cello player, in my opinion the notes are put in wrong and it dosent even sound like it. Fix this and ill rate 5 stars

It does its job well, but crashes when screen locks. Also distortion when changing note.

So it might not sounds exactly like a real violin but it's the best I've come across yet for when I want to get a general idea of how a new piece might sound when I'm browsing music away from my instrument.

In real life you wouldn't put the bow high up to get D1 D2 D3 and others, you would push the note you want on the right height then do the the bow between the bridge and the top bit, low enough so it doesn't go squeaky. And the notes, they're every where! I can't even find D1 or even a single D! It even sounds funny! Uninstalling!

This is horrible! I thought of giving it a consideration besides the bad reviews that are being displayed here and when I started playing the app, it's just the worst and terribly the worst not placemet I have ever heard. I am a violinist, I know what I'm saying and this is absolutely dissapointing.
