Developers, please considering developing a native app for this, it is not user friendly. With the data provided from your devices there is really good potential in helping users to control their power consumption, however this is truly lost. The website is much better experience, however still lacks potential. One easy and simple function would be a notification everyday of what the progress is compared with the previous day. It may also helps you compare months, with achievements.... the sky is the limit.

by Q####:

The app is ok but if you have solar it's not particularly helpful. It does not give a net consumption and the amount spent numbers are useless given you can only enter 1 tariff and it doesn't remove solar from grid, the figures are off. But is ok for just monitoring current solar

18 Months after the last update, and even the obvious bugs and deficiencies have not been addressed. A detailed report was sent to Efergy but it seems it was ignored.

Heaps of room for improvement. Suggestions: *Keep it clean - Put each section into its own page. It's very intuitive to swipe left and right to switch pages. It's the main way smart phones cycle content. *The Home screen should have an overview of the important information at a glance. Current power usage, Cost and Budget information in just text format placed neatly. Weather forecast can help to add aesthetics to the home screen. *History and Energy Demand can be on their own page. * Remove Report and Latest News from the page and add it in the menu. * Conform the menu to the native style menu for android. Fixed position at the very top left, with the menu sliding in from the left side. The title for the section you are currently in should be next to the menu icon. Remove the home icon at the bottom left. Add a reload or refresh in the menu. * Add current date and time. It feels a bit disconnected from being live * Add a widget with the current usage and give users the ability to select an update duration, 20s, 30s, 60s, 5min, etc, or allow for custom time. * Add alarm push notifications if possible. Show us that your grateful that we buy your products.

I purchased the solar package absolute waste of money! System does not know the difference between import or export so the whole power consumption trend is totally inaccurate. The trend graph has import shown in dark green and export in light green which I can't change colours and is so hard to read and the app locks up at least once a day requiring me to do a restart on my S7. Also has no option of alinging it with billing dates. Totally mislead on this one.

Keeps logging me out regardless of checking the remember me block. Still battling to log back in a week later.

The application doesn't save the password. It doesn't show the login button in vertical mode and also doesn't accept my password anymore. Really bad that I have to look for alternative apps.

Utterly poor app. Looses my sensors all the time, slow response, out of date.... You're not even trying... Just remembered why I removed it, tried again to look for improvements, but no.

It's a promising system for managing your consumption but the interface is so obscure that it doesn't really serve a purpose beyond tracking live usage. Please improve budgeting and historical ui.

Q70%
by Q####:

because my user id (email) is too long and goes on to the next line so it doesn't recognise it. Also the first sensor system I bought did work either. It wouldn't pair. Quality control is very low here

Q70%
by Q####:

I have been using this for a year or so and find it works well It can export the data into a csv file which I really like I just wish it would pick up my efergy Ego devices as I can't work out how to get the data out of them into a csv file

"We’ve imported the online platform into the app which gives you a whole new level of accuracy and much more." The "more" is a whole level of frustration using the website wrapped in an app. Like the repeated requests to login (even with the remember me/cookie trick), and the fact that the login button is off screen on a Nexus 5, so I rotate, refresh the screen and lose the password in the. Piece of junk.

Q70%
by Q####:

The app layout is ugly and there is no option to change the size or position of the meters. Being an Android app, the lack of home screen widgets is inexcusable.

Q70%
by Q####:

A while new look that fixes my long term complaint about not using a central web based tariff and settings system. Except that they implemented with only one tariff, making the budget feature useless for any one with time based tariffs. Old app had it, why not implement it on the new one? App has heaps of lag on button presses. I often tap twice after thinking it hasn't worked. Cards based design is nice (loosely material based) but a lot of the cards are useless. Would be nice to be able to remove some.

S70%
by S####:

Guys. This is 2015. I'm sure you've heard of MATERIAL DESIGN. So please update this app. It has HUGE potential. The app is buggy, laggy, clumsy to use for e.g. the back button isn't implemented properly. It exits the app instead of navigating back within the app. And serious overhaul is HEAVILY NEEDED. Great product, horrible app at the moment. Please please update.

F70%
by F####:

Although there was a lot of functionality added to this version, the previous one was a lot better in terms of the daily graph which does not update until the app is killed. The app also does not exit when the back button in pressed. This drains the battery when not used and also leaves the graph hours behind when the app is used the next time. Prefer the previous version as the basics worked.

Y70%
by Y####:

It sometimes used vast amounts of battery. My phone gets really hot on pocket because of that.

C70%
by C####:

I'd give it a 4 if I could download the report csv files, but it just sits there and does nothing everytime I click download! The graphs could also be more interactive too.

Q70%
by Q####:

App works fairly well, however can't open any downloaded data (that initially isn't formatted to display properly across the page)... hence data I really want to view can't be viewed! Not very helpful. A solution would be appreciated.

Q70%
by Q####:

I've seen bad apps, but this one takes the cake. It's UTTER JUNK! They say software can make or break a company.

Q70%
by Q####:

I find it works very well. Use it a few times a day.

Q70%
by Q####:

This is the most frustrating app I have ever used, and the support is awful! This app never worked properly, or at all sometimes, and the support never recognized the problems but instead sent me in loops to avoid dealing with them. This last "update" is essentially ditching the app and directing us to the webpage, and besides showing less information than before, it is so buggy that I cannot believe they even tested before rolling out! Unless they are chimps... I am so frustrated with this app...

Q70%
by Q####:

I used to love and recommend this application. Not anymore. Since the last big update this application rendered to be completely useless. Sorry but you are doing it really wrong. Please go back to the old mobile version as soon as possible.

Q70%
by Q####:

I was a huge efergy fan and have several of their devices around the house. However the quality of their software is really hurting the business. Power meters which can't firmware upgrade, poor user interface etc. This update is a prime example of bad software development . the previous app had a simple bar graph which I used to compare month on month . with the new update it is just a horrible web portal . please get your s#$t together Efergy.

Q70%
by Q####:

This app lets the Hub Solo down. I paid £40 for an online monitoring device but I can't access the information I need. I get MUCH more useful info from the E2 Classic wifi box when usb connected to my laptop. E.G. Dual tariff costs (Economy 7) and total Kwh per day. Such a shame as a few straightforward software changes would make this far more powerful....and improve sales, as I can't recommend it as it stands.

Q70%
by Q####:

Working well but I would like cycle between kW, kWh and Amps on the dashboard view.

Q70%
by Q####:

This version does not let you zoom the graphical, on orientation change reloads the whole page... I don't like this anymore. You can't scroll on graphic. Please increase usability.

So you gave up trying to make an App and just give us a web browser looking at a mobile version of you site. Woopeee dooo. Pile of junk, not updated for ages. Developer ignoring CUSTOMER comments.

Q70%

It's a mobile version of the web-site. The web-site, despite some shortcomings, is highly preferable compared to the android app. Given that the monitoring platform provides web-API this app could be redesigned to better exploit the mobile usage pattern. GUI-related stuff, responsiveness and live information (e.g. truly live energy demand plots and charts) are a few areas where improvement should be made.

Q70%
by Q####:

Huge improvement over the previous version. Yes, the app now basically looks like the engage website, but the information in the website is pretty good and easy to navigate. Same goes for the app now.

I think it is one of the worst app in the play store.
