I can't even get this app to work with the camera - ever! The vision just times out. I can adjust all the camera settings though, so thanks for that. Thankfully I use the 3rd party TinyCam app which is brilliant. Do yourself a favour and don't use this woeful app. Is there even any development happening?

Every time I want to use this app I have to uninstall / clear all data. Then I have to add cameras again. It works until I exit the app. Then it won't start again. Same situation in my LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. Both stock Android 6

Using this is a rental so I don't have access to it and it stopped working. I can still see live shots, and I get alerts from the motion detection but I cannot download the avi anymore. Just stopped working. I get about 10 alerts a day for motion. Usually just leaves or something.

Got picture but when reinstalling camera could not get rid of old name. Captured some events, but could not erase them. Password change doesn't work. Too many more problems to list. V 1.0.7

I just bought this camera from Newegg.ca. The app times out before I can see any video...pointless to have the hardware if the software does not work! Contacting the company in the morning. If they can't even get the app working then the camera is useless!!!!

Works ok and is stable on both my Nexus 5x and S4 mini. But....you can't configure all the camera settings from the app...cant change motion detection regions, cant access camera sd card to play files directly or to delete files etc etc etc So you need a laptop to configure the camera correctly which makes the app a bit pointless as a config and setup device.

Must uninstall the app, clear the data, and reinstall the app, reinstall the cameras to get it to work again.

This Ediview security cam app just does not work! Many times it won't connect to the camera. Sometimes it will. You can't rely on it. Sometimes the motion events are there and sometimes they won't download. Very frustrating!

I had to start the app multiple times till I was able to add the first camera. Then I can only add an admin user (no operator or guest users; a problem for me since I do not want somebody to change the settings I made on the camera). And since I do not want to use the cloud or let the camera access the internet, I would have expected the app to take the privacy more seriously and let me know what info sends through internet. Also, at least on PC, connection to camera is not secured, password itself is send through unsecured connections. Then: only in portrait mode I can add new camera or change existing settings. Then problems were present on devices running with Android 4, 5 and 6. EdiLife looks more promising, but most of the problems above are present there as well.

Could be a cool app. Too many time outs and bad audio/microphone. Hardware / software minimally useful.

Notifications don't work. Sound does not work. Says cam is not support. Basically watching it live is the only use of this cam and app

Don't buy this camera. Its horrible. I have been trying for 3 days to get it working.

Stop working, crashing every time during startup, tried two devices.

This app sucks. The only reason I use it is because we spent almost $100 on the camera. I constantly have to Uninstall and reinstall just to be able to use it.

This app works excellent for me. no problems as of yet. I can see what is going on in my place anywhere I am, USA, Mexico, Canada...No problem

Someone needs to go to jail for this piece of CRAP!!

This works great all you need is sd card for memory and you can save all videos! !!I love it!!

It will alert me when something triggers it but won't allow me to view what it's seeing through my phone anymore. It's very disconcerting when it goes off at 2 a.m. and I can't tell what's outside my house. (no way am I going to go outside to see)

After crash won't even load after phone power cycle.

useless app. the email notification does not work. it did send the email if sound or motion is detected but the video ImageEvent.avi file that it send is useless. the video content does not show anything but a black screen with sound beeping periodatically.

Don't believe the hype. It does not work with Apple. You get no push notifications at all. Complete waste of money.

Does not work

Worked like a charm then started crashing when i wanted to play recorded video. After phone reset is working again ... don't know for how long. To be sure, i turned email notifications back on. Hopefully bugs will be fixed soon .. your turn Edimax :) Samsung galaxy S6

The app crashes everytime i go to view events. Making the camera useless.

Rarely connects

The app is pretty bad with connecting remotely to the camera outside of the house. Had to update camera firmware for anything to work at all.

This app works if you phone is connected through the local wifi network. But if you disconnected it and use your own network internet it just keeps crashing. I hope they fix thia.

How come live stream always got timed out after 1 min?
