Color Catcher

Color Catcher lets you catch any color in the world around you using your camera and give you its name. You can explore too the whole named color space with a color picker, search through color names, and find names for hex values.

The named colors used it this app are taken from the results of the XKCD color survey: xkcd.com/color/rgb/. This huge survey asked real people to name swatches of colors. After some data processing by XKCD.

Color Catcher is also helpful for people who are color blind.
