DNS Changer for Android
See for yourself. The lump of uselessness simply doesn't let me set my dns to anything I want
Hi Eddy, great app. Noticed it requests super user quite frequently on my nexus 4 after a reboot, its not much of a problem but obviously if its requesting frequently its probably reapplying the DNS when it doesn't need to.
A fantastic app in a very lightweight package. I switched to Google's DNS server and my internet speed is ridiculously fast compared to before. Small and simply to use. Highly recommended for all rooted handsets!
Not working for 3G and LTE. Always auto revert back to telco dns
Made worse my connection
And the interface stinks :(
It said unable to obtain superuser
Does what it should do but with under bad UI. UI has to be improved...
See for yourself. The lump of uselessness simply doesn't let me set my dns to anything I want
I used to live this app, but it just doesn't seem to set the dns for me anymore which is the only thing this app is supposed to do.
UI is pretty outdated, but it is effective, lighter (38kb only),simple and well working ,need root
Will U make Ur apps so our kitkat devices can use it? We really like this apps. Thanks dev. :)
I presume because it didn't reset the interface after applying the new dns setting.
Why can't i send lots of links in a tweet (of course they are lesser than 140 letters) and i always have to change dns to load tweets ???
Did not change DNS server over cellular network on rooted phone
My 3g dns is still the same after 2 days.
It does not do what it claims to do, at least not for the Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL.
On custom Android 6.0-ROM.
I use to use it but now it's useless.
Does not work on SGS2 with SlimSaber 4.4.4
Doesn't work for me
The UI is a little bit shifty, and the settings don't always save (meaning they often go back to default) but the app does what it's meant to.
Error and search redirects are a thing of the past. Get actual errors and use the search engine you decide to use, not your isp's sketchy ad pages. For best results find the fastest DNS servers using Steve Gibson's free DNS Benchmark on PC.
Can't see the settings menu so can't use the app. Android 4.4.4 on Note 4
Not working for me when I try to enter custom DNS only let's me enter 5 characters then curser jumps back to the beginning
Hard to tell if it works on my HTC One running Android 4.4.2. But it apparently does work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, running 4.1.1.
Now I can watch porn again.
It just works, the Norton DNS options are helpful too for setting up malware filter
it wotks.. simple setting and done.. works on Chrome (and other browser)
It is a simple application that is very useful
Better then the other changer app with higher rating
Thanks for this app. Useful
It Lets Me Open Blocked Webpage
An app that very smart and useful
If it has no effect, e.g., because root is denied, it still claims success. Apart from that, fine!
this is the best dns changer for android, even better than set-dns. i wish you would add notification function in statbar when the dns is changed
Thank you so much this app just works!!
The so seems promising and looks simple but when you want to change it does not do a single thing.
Used the open dns family filter and tested it and it loaded explicit sites.
