GPS Status PRO - (legacy key)

for smartphone users who make use of their built-in GPS/Glonass receiver frequently. It is information rich but it lacks in visual aspect. Almost all you see is numbers. I do love how it automatically launches everytime I launch satnav apps such as Google Maps, Sygic, and Navitel. But it doesn't launch automatically when I open Google Earth. If it could only support Tasker, I'll be happy to rate 5*.

Been heavy navi user for years. This app fixed evry issue I had with my GPS. I tried GPS test, rooted my phone, replaced GPS.config file..it didn't help. This app fixed it. You gus should be proud. This app must be preinstalled with any GPS capable device.

This app helped resolve some sluggish GPS problems. It's also fun and informative. Droid Motorola MAXX (XT912) JB 4.1.2 and Google NEXUS 7 (flo) KitKat 4.4.2. Excellent work and a Must Have Tool.

This app is extremely handy for work and other non work related things. I love all the features included. The free version is powerful but the paid version even more so! It's a must have for the professional who deals with locations and antenna pointing.

This is the only thing that can fix the asus zenfone for gps. However I would request an 'aggressive' mode which would repeatedly query and fix the gps every couple seconds.

Great product! Had only one small problem, I factory reset my Marshmallow Moto X and installed GPS Status, however when I clicked on purchase Pro it did not seem to know that I had paid for a pro key and the play store would prompt me for payment. Since I was on the train traveling, I vaguely remembered buying the key so did not make the purchase. On reaching my destination, I searched Gmail and found the order receipt. I was planning to contact the developers but found that I could install the pro key from the Play store from my laptop. Other than this, no issues. Thank you.

It's running in the background all the time now, even when I'm not using GPS, or any GPS related apps. It's a little annoying that everytime my screen wakes it shows GPS status running in the notification screen? Oh well. I just uninstalled it.

Anytime I find a free app that satisfy my needs I immediately see if there's a way to either donate or pay for a pro version. I needed an app that was able to calibrate my accelerometer/gyroscope on my N10. Tried a few apps that made that claim but fell short....until I found this one. Worked flawlessly...so much that I bought the pro key. Great job devs!

This is my go-to app for testing after kernel updates and fresh blobs. 5 stars once ART support rolls out. Crashes on 4.4 with ART enabled. Edit: giving the full 5 it deserves. ART is a Google bug issue, not a user app issue.

Paid for the pro key, but this program no longer offers the functions that were the reason I paid for it in the first place. Useless now. It was a five star app before the change. Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Is there a way to share a dropped pin or starred saved point from android Google maps into the RADAR or this app's saved points? Cut and paste of the lat + long doesn't work because the format and characters used are non-standard.

Work great with gps lockin fast initially, but signal degraded quickly. I found out that the phone itself has problem with the sensors, and will swap out to anothet phone. How do I transfer the pro app without being charged twice for the same app. Please respond, thanks

Since a week the app is not working anymore. There is no satellite fix. I travelled half the world last weeks and where ever I was the app was not working anymore since there is no satellite detection at all. Before it worked fine and I was very satisfied. Now I am really disappointed and surfing the internet shows there are more people with this problem now. Looks like android update is the cause of it. Please solve asap

Wonderful response from the developer on a problem I was having that turned out to be a problem with the Play Store in updates to my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The problem was that the app was stuck on the 5. X version and the phone is set for automatic updates, yet the application was not being updated.

Lg g2 has some issues with GPS, so I was always having problems when using Google maps or any GPS assisted app. I bought the pro license of this app to get access to the A-GPS feature and in a blink it solved the issues I was having. A must have for any G2 owner with a faulty GPS.

Fixes most of the issues I've have with the GPS on my phone. I really love this app, the only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5, is because when this app is updated the GPS stops functioning until you actually open the app.

By far my most used and appreciated utility. Any GPS issue is quickly resolved with this. Great display of sensor data, helpful and accurate compass, and love the red night themed display option. #ingress wouldn't be the same without GPS Status.

Works well and does what it's supposed to do, as long as an Android OS upgrade doesn't break it anyhow. Have noticed when I edit a target or POI it has a tendency to drop 1m from the easting coordinate, so you have to constantly remember to add one to it to save the correct value.

Could you please add the option to display the altitude based on the phone's pressure sensor? Sometimes you don't have gps signal or you want that turned off in order to preserve battery and only use compass and pressure sensor. Thanks!

Great app with loads of features. Only thing I would like tweaked is when entering a target's location, have separate fields for N/S and E/W cos inputting on smart phone is fiddly. Otherwise an excellent app.

This app dramatically improves my tablet's GPS capabilities. There have been times that I would not have been able to get a satellite lock without it. If you ever use GPS, get this!

I have many paid trail apps and none of them are intuitive or reliable. They do not even show GPS coordinates. Now with this app and good paper maps I am covered. Works great, love the share feature. Worth every penny.

I use GPS for work every day and have used this app for years - mainly for its "A-GPS" feature. A-GPS uses wifi network data to help your GPS lock in and stay locked when storms and/or tall buildings are messing with it. I never run Maps or Waze without running this app first. This used to work but now the app says that the key is outdated. When it works I'll up my vote Edit Wiped my phone and it's great

To the developer: I like this app a lot! Can the barometric pressure be fixed so that it shows the pressure corrected for altitude? Now it only shows absolute pressure. Also, maybe I'm not to bright but I haven't been able to figure out how to use the radar. .. maybe you or someone else can help me.

I got my tablet as an eBook reader but then I started installing apps, just like my kids. Different apps, of course, they find mine boring. Anyway this is a really brilliant app so I upgraded it to PRO not because I particularly needed the extras (but you never know!) but just because it so very good. I know the maths is pretty high powered but the presentation and documentation are very well done as well.

Proven to be my favorite way of accessing the phone sensors. I just wish we could search or use a map to set waypoints/targets for the radar mode. Entering coordinates isn't convinient and when I type manually coordinates from Google maps, they are not accepted. The format must be different but I don't understand how.

I use this app for hiking and navigating around town on foot. Downside (not the fault of the app) is that you are at the mercy of the capabilities of the device your running it on. I have a huge SD card, but my phone won't let this or most other apps write to it so using downloaded maps is limited to the phone's built-in storage which is poor...again not the fault of the app. Haven't yet tried this app on a tablet.

Started off as a great app for my S4. Bought the Pro key for additional features. Compass is only good at telling me where north ISN'T in spite multiple calibrations. Tools were initially accessible but now gittery and difficult to find. Recent update wiped my waypoints. Don't even know if Pro key is working as no longer have symbol. Going from average to worse.

I like the app and found it very useful for hunting. I just got a new phone and have 2 complaints. It appears not able to save and transfer over my saved locations which is a huge loss to me after having stored so many. Also it say my purchased pro key is "old" and its making me buy it again. Not cool. I will start looking for a replacement app.

I just bought this app to use its features and it doesn't work because it says my phone doesn't have a compass. I can't do anything with it now. Not satisfied. If my phone had its own compass I wouldn't need this app. I thought your app came with everything

I've had this app since 2011 and it's the best GPS app out there. No weird permissions, just does what it's supposed to.

Best sensor suite going. Allows you to save GPS locations so you can home in on them later. I no longer need to remember where I parked the car!

I'm an avid hunter and outdoorsman. I rely upon my phone GPS to help me mark sites and map my hunts. This one has helped me to understand what is going on with my GPS sensors and helped me tune my gps.conf.

Efficient code that gets right to the data I want. . No need to wade through a bunch of bloat to see the sensor data. . Gt real product that is worth the pro upgrade.

An excellent app except for one thing! All my waypoints set in my home area of North East UK are shown to be in Africa if I try to show them in Google Earth. All other map types work perfectly. Additional comment several days later :- Fault seems to have corrected itself - now working perfectly. A question :- Is Google the only map type available for showing waypoints on?
