GPS Status & Toolbox

Got the key many years ago. LOVE this app for a number of reasons. Among its capabilities, you can see the sensors in your phone. Very nice to know your phone can sense temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc... I left a not so nice scorching review yesterday griping about paying for a new license after upgrading my phone. Turns out to be an issue with migration from the old phone to the new. Completely removing main apply and key and reinstalling both silver the problem. So, I modified my review accordingly.

Does not speed up the satellite tracking. Provides a lot of not very useful information. I thought that the sun sets in the West, but even after several calibrations still not quite accurate. Other gps fix apps locate the satellites quicker.

Butt ugly but flawless. I should have rated this years ago. I bought the licence years ago as it was well worth it. The largest problem with GPS fix is your sync with UTC. There's other apps for that. The next is GPS A data. This will update it for you, but requires connectivity. I always find that even without connectivity and my time slightly off-sync, using this program is a little like warming up your car before driving it. Start it first, check the Sat fix, then start a nav program and you'll have a faster location fix. It presents a sensory overload of information for the average person, and, man, it is ugly, but its an invaluable wokhorse. One of the best. I've had this on my phone and tablets almost from the first releases. Well worth purchasing. Apparently the funds go to app development, not making it pretty. :)

Started out great - keeps getting better! I'm impressed that they re-wrote the whole thing in Kotlin. Great sign that it will continue to improve, although I can't imagine how.

How is it this thing says north is one direction but if I turn the phone then north is in a completely different direction? Doesn't seem to work correctly.

Took away sensor data on main screen for free users.... I've been using this for years. Uninstalled.

Looks good. I'm glad I found a utility to make up for what didn't come with my tablet but should have. (Finally! I can see coordinates! And more.) I bought the "pro key" thing too. I'm not seeing any issues with the battery indicator. The developer is very helpful and very patient. It appears to do everything it says it does, now that the developer helped me see past what my tablet was hiding from me. (Note added after your reply: Thanks! I did actually eventually find that out. I was basically just commenting that I got temporarilly confused by the PRO key icon not responding to touching it but yet it needs to be installed. Everybody should pay for the PRO upgrade. It's well worth it.) And AGPS really does speed up acquisition. However, I wish it had a way to delete POIs and I can't figure out how to get "RADAR" to show an arrow pointing to the destination. All I get is a distance reading. P.S. It's not malware! I'm not sure what the buttons in the action bar on the Radar screen in the 2 July '14 update are supposed to do. But I'm glad the update left things working. Thank you for fixing the Android 4.0.4 incompatibility!

Very useful, worth the price, GPS fixing is so much faster. Tons of updates, no crashes, love it

Even after buying the app it takes long to fix gps. Developer should do something about this.

If you use the GPS on your phone or tablet, you should have this app. It does everything it should.
