VIZpin SMART is an electronic key ring that organizes all your keys. VIZpin electronic keys are secure, encrypted keys that let you unlock any VP1 reader-controller you have been granted access to. You can have many keys to many places with this convenient app and they can be one-time, temporary or permanent keys.
Once you download and register this app, you can contact anyone with a VIZpin VP1 reader, let them know when you will be there and in seconds, you will get a VIZpin key. VIZpin keys tell you where and when they work, you can even map to your location. When you arrive, simply open the VIZpin app, press the key and you are in!
The VIZpin SMART app now supports Bluetooth Smart (Low Energy) mode on compatible Android smartphones! Android smartphones not supported by Bluetooth Smart can still activate VP1 readers using Bluetooth Classic mode (default setting in app).

The latest app update logged me out of the app. This is unacceptable when this app is what everyone in my company uses to get into the office. Beware that this app could cost you productivity. Yes, there is a way to log back in if you remember your credentials, and yes, there's a way to recover your account, but this still shouldn't happen. Given that you pay over $1,000 to have an entry system installed, the app should be better. Additionally, the management website leaves a lot to be desired and there should be some detail on how the encryption actually works beyond simply stating that they use 128 bit AES encryption. The developers have been responsive when we've had issues in the past, but the logout on upgrade issue just isn't acceptable.
