About PID Tracker
If you have been diagnosed with a primary or secondary immune deficiency this app is designed to empower you so that you can keep better track of your health.
Immunodeficiency Canada launches a PID Tracker App to empower individuals living with a Primary Immunodeficiency to be able to track their laboratory results, read the latest news about PID, and keep track of their scheduled infusions and/or injections for immunoglobulin replacement therapy.
Developed by Dr. Jason K Lee, a Clinical Immunologist and Allergist in Toronto and a recipient of the Chaim Roifman Scholar Award for Young Investigators, this app is designed to assist individuals in managing their PID by keeping track of vital laboratory information and appointment dates and times. This will enable individuals to be active participants in their care and facilitate better informed discussions with their health care providers. Individuals can also obtain any late breaking news about PID through the news feature.
Easy to use, the App shows the latest evidence based medical information
For exampleEach laboratory values show a range with a red line showing upper limit of normal and a blue line showing the lower limit of normal. If you are outside of these ranges it may be worthwhile to bring this to the attention of your health care professional to see if any changes are needed in your treatment plan. Values are charted on a graph to indicate upwards or downwards trends.
