eBay - Buy, Sell & Save Money with Discount Deals

The search is not working.i have to use the mobile site then add to basket then buy from the app.you can only see limited number of previous purchases which makes it difficult to purchase again same items. edit: The customer has asked me to follow up on the issue using their email address, that was on 16/12/2017 and haven't heard anything since... moving the rating from 2 to 1 star.

Would be helpful to have a "lowest price ending soonest" sorting option. Also there are some refining options that you can't select at first,they appear some time later. Some bug there...would be good to have sort by: "highest rated seller", I am pretty sure I am not the only one buying from 100% sellers only. Latest bug: it shows I missed an item, which I actually won...

I can't understand why so many folks are dogging on this app. I shop on Ebay a LOT. Too much if you ask my DH. ;) But I have never had any problems using the app from my Samsung tablet or cell. Maybe I wouldn't buy as much if I did encounter technical difficulties? There's a thought! haha Keep up the awesome work, apps dev team! I'm never disappointed in the application's performance, no matter if I'm bidding, paying, messaging, searching, etc. I wish everything in my life worked as seamlessly.

There are no reviews for the product! We have to go deep in seller rating to search for review and open each and every one review to see if it's for the product we're looking for! eBay could simply link the product reviews on the product page instead on keeping deep in seller's profile! So many years now and no update in app! Not even a simple cart option to buy multiple products at a time!

Well it's improved a lot since the last update but why the hell does it keep rearranging my watch list? I don't care what ends soonest, I just want to find recent watched items without having to rearrange it again myself!! It drives me nuts. And constant watch item reminders - what's that all about? Apart from that it's great.

I've been using eBay' s site for years because of the variety of products I can find for an even better price than what most store and other online markets offer. Though on ocassion I'll encounter a few snags on the way, overall I find shopping at eBay both a convenient and fun experience. You never know what bargain you might find when you search eBay.

I find the ebay app brilliant. I would say I use it almost daily. I don't think I have visited the main website more than a couple of times since discovering the app. It does everything I want it too when I'm buying and I have found no problems. I'm not a seller yet but maybe someday. The app is simple to use, gives me the information I need, and I can bid happily with no problems. You're losing out if you're not using.

Since this has been updated its gotten worse. Messages not being received. Also the message section needs to expand. You can only see a tiny part on the screen and have to scroll through when replying. An offer of mine was declined. I didn't get any notification I ended up paying more when I could've got it for less! Sort it out EBay!

The application is getting more stabilized and usefull. Bravo. 2 offers. 1). When we collect the items in person seller receive the 5⭐ mark for the postage automatically. Thats not fair I think. 2). The buyer doesn't have the opportunity to mark the item as paid for if it's been collected in person and paid by cash on collection. So if seller doesn't mark the item as paid eBay keeps reminding that you need to pay for it. But in general the app is great.

I'm giving you 5 stars for your recent efforts. I like the changes you've made to the watch list. The list resets each time I return to it, and is not set as whatever I had checked off. Could I lock it someday? I'd like to access the other list I've made within the mobile app? I do use them. That's really what I need from this app. It would be best implemented from the watch list where swiping left and right with lead to the other list.

Watched and recently viewed items are always visible and there is no way of changing that, so lack of privacy is now an issue if you use it to buy gifts ect. Only updated because I was forced to in order to keep using the app! NOT HAPPY! This app used to be great. PLEASE GIVE BACK THE OPTION TO HIDE THEM!

Amazon used to be my #1 go to for online shopping. However, once I started using eBay and got used to it, I fell in love. EBay has been my #1 go to for just about everything I buy online. The app is super easy to use and I love the notifications I get that are personalized just for me based on my shopping habits. I also love the watch item reminders and the reminders for any auctions I'm participating in. I literally have NOTHING bad to say about eBay and it's app. Thank you for an amazing experience time and time again!!!

Ebay is an awesome online selling and buying platform. I only buy online as of now and I have been buying on ebay for 5 years now. I feel secure purchasing on ebay thru paypal and if I am ever unsatisfied, the seller is normally easy work work with in regards to a refund or replacement. I have only had to have ebay customer service intervene one time and when they did, I had my money back within 24hrs back into my account. I love it, I love it, I love it!

For first time since I use it, it doesn't display anymore the listings(watching, bids...). After rotating wait circle, says about no network connection. Still, others apps that also uses network can connect to their servers, only ebay app reports this network problem. Before I did the app update some days ago, it was working fine. Please tell developers to test it better before releasing it , in future.

I joined eBay for many years ago and this is by far best and has seller it help to sell and get paid. Sure, there is fee. If you do it right it wouldn't be problem. I been there and done it, is shipping part which is issues. Best to save box and paid it out. You be saving more. Make sure items is good. Take picture and kept in document, fraud happen. They can help. But, fee. You need to be MORE careful.

Ebay should limit sellers ability to add multiple items to one listing. (Ex. A seller wants his/her phone to appear to be the cheapest while still charging more than the competition, they simply as a $2 charger to the selection of items in a drop down menu. Now their listing appears earlier then cheaper options even when using the sort priced low to high feature.) I would also like to see more refinement for mobile phone searches. With so many new phones in the flagship sector I still cannot sort by a mount of ram.

Ebay now forces you to take offers on listings. I do not like constantly updating my listings. If you change your price, the app force selects the offer option. I received a message from eBay stating that it has allowed offers on my listings. If you actually want offers on your listing, the app will not allow you to change the offer threshold to above more than half the listed price. I do not like these changes at all.

Love selling through eBay. Everything is great but we need to be able to open resolution center for non-payment claims. I have given my customer 18 days without opening a claim and even offered him to pay me today (nov8) and I will still leave positive feedback. No response. I would like to be able to open a claim without having to get on a computer.

Ebay have changed the global shipping and now a $2 item can cost $35 to get shipped from the US in a small packet. Buyer beware! Using Aliexpress more often now or going direct to dealer websites and buying direct. Have been an Ebay user since it began now its just another global corporate giant that needs to increase profits at all costs and to hell with the user experience.

Holy moly. First, my fixed price listings lost the option of removing best option and choosing the length of time my listing will stay active! Then those options came back. But now ebay is just enabling best offer on my listings, on its own, even tho I deactivated it before finalizing my listings. I have been a seller on ebay for years. This app is getting on my nerves so bad, it's unbelievable! Its such a waste of time going back and editing all my listings! Ebay! Leave my listings alone! ! !

I love using eBay! I suggest some important changes.. 1 - Taxes.. Sales tax: there should NEVER be a sales tax charge for any item sold through eBay! Especially for transactions where the buyer and seller are in separate/different states. 2 - When viewing a list of items, each item listed should display where the seller is shipping from. Currently an item has to be viewed individually in order to see where the seller is shipping from. * I usually prefer to buy from within the U.S. for quicker shipping. It would greatly shorten a person's search time if each item within a search list displayed where the seller is shipping from. 3 - When doing a search, there should be an option to search from *ONLY* certain country (ex. a search within the US only or within China only..) if a person desires. 4 - When viewing a search result list, ALL items listed should display the shipping fee (free or the actual cost) for that item! I should not have to open an item individually to see the shipping fee.

I know a lot of people would consider Amazon these days but eBay is still Lit if you know what your doing. I would recommend it to those who ask lots of questions. All sellers I've asked questions to were answer in a day or 2. Quick right? I've bought over + 10 items on this app and it's website. Try it! Or just come back.

This app is pretty user friendly. It could be improved if price + shipping instead of just product price was given when sorting. Also, it gives me repeated emails on the same product from the same seller as "new" for my saved searches. If not for these two things, I would have given 5 stars.

The best selling/buying app and website there is. I just started using eBay in November and have no experience selling online, but I've listed and sold 3 items for a total of over $120!!! Im loving it. Never anyissues, nor people trying to scam you. 9 times out of ten you'll be able to list the items you're selling for free..(Amazon is $40 a month) Plus the notifications are great, I know when an item I'm selling has been bid on, someone's made an offer or the items been bought. Let's you know the moment the item you purchased is shipped and when it will arrive.

The delivery time and condition of the items when they arrive at my house that i order, are the things i like most about the app. It would be nice to be able to add a custom profile picture, and maybe add more edit profile options like a bio, contact info, or something that gives a buyer more info about the seller. But just suggestions. Thank you

Good very handy app if you're on the move constantly and not glued to a computer. Some issues being solved???? Some not! Since the last updates...new issues: Reading my inbox messages made it harder now! Used to simply swipe the screen to read next message. Now need go back and click on next one every time! Also "Leave Feedback" options is literally gone for some reason. Need to scroll down for last 60 days to find the buyer....to Leave Feedback!!?? Please fix this. Regards

Until today (November 2017) this app worked really well on my Android phone and I loved using it to sell. Today, it has auto updated and I don't like it. It's visually less good, the crop option on photos is gone (or I maybe need to search for it), and the courier delivery options are weird. There's no explanation of the ?new eBay delivery options. I don't have time for this. Sigh.

eBay is my "come to" place to find anything! I love this program because you can anything here, and have been purchasing from them for at least 10, maybe even 15, years. I have had only one "problem" with a seller but it was nothing that could not have been fixed easily. I think that's pretty good for all the purchases I have made! I recommend eBay to everyone because a person can find anything they are looking for here!

(1) please add Returns tab maybe under Purchases. (2) still can't add photos to a message or an open case. (3) please make easier to add pictures to items to sell, in iOS it's much simpler. (4) Please add a filter to exclude items which are collection only as no point in seeing items we can't have when the item is far away; don't want to specify distance as this excludes items the seller will post. (5) please bring back "escalate" option; sellers indicate they have sent a return label but none received and there is no option to escalate other than to call.

This app has seen better days. Hop they return with glory. Why keep pushing updates when we can't buy stuff through the app! For every single item it says it requires immediate payment which currently i not supported by ebay mobile.' So basically whats the point of having an app when you have to shuffle between the phone and laptop to buy any product?!?

Love it. I buy absolutely everything from here. Plus sometimes you can get similar products or even the same from outside of UK for much less. It suits me and serves me well. I have been shopping on here since 2012 I think, I find eBay better than Amazon, ebay is my GO TO.????

Search functions don't seem to be as well as the PC version but for the convenience, it's worth the trade off. And Kudos to ebay for"cleaning up" the site & guaranteeing customer satisfaction! I recommend ebay to all my Amazon shopping friends & their very pleased also!????

I have been happy with the quick delivery service and good prices for the items I have purchased. I like the fact that eBay lets you know when the item is being delivered. I have only had one complaint, that was a tin of paint that had leaked out . But I understand that it can happen. Sometimes. I got refunded straight away ,so that was good. I spend a lot of time browsing eBay. I love the fact that I can use necter points. I can find things on eBay that I wouldn't find in shops. Very happy customer.

Great except for selling stuff. If you have something unique to sell forget it! eBay tries to speed up your listing process by searching through its data base of what it thinks you're trying to list and doesn't let you go through the regular listing process. What if I have a custom made item I want to sell? Nope, couldn't find it in the list. Seriously eBay, are your software engineers that bored you have to keep messing with things? Just stop, it worked fine before! You're not going to be Amazon.

I recently updated the app, thinking that the brilliant functionality would only get better. HOW WRONG WAS I!!! The new version has lost 'find similar' function, the seller's other items has gone from the item overview. I really do wish I could uninstall latest version and revert back to the previous brilliant version. Larger pics and new look do not make it a better app when useful functions have been lost!!!

Any idea why the app closes completely instead of staying open when switching to another app? Drives me up the wall comrades. I find something interesting, go look it up in my browser and Ebay has closed so I have to restart my search. More often than not I can't be bothered and go buy the item elsewhere...

v5.16.1.2 - Great for competing in the last minute of the auction and keeping up with modifications and messages. The app is getting better but still needs some improvement. Contacting sellers is getting better. Need to be able to use the collection feature. Please make GPS use an option that can be turned on and off. Some users care about privacy; others are concerned with power consumption.

This app is easy to use. However, it does not give you full listings. It seems the goal is to get you to spend more money. Example: Search "ring" on the website and filter it to all results under $2. Over 500,000 results Search the same term and the same filter on the app and you get 13 results. Even double check that absolutely no other filters or categories are selected that might inhibit results. Strange, right? If I download an app for convenience purposes, I still expect it to be valuable in the sense it provides me with the same and better options as the website. Annoying, really.

Quick and easy listing and bidding. I havn't had any issuse with this app and im selling pretty well so far. The only thing I would inprove is the photoe uploads only allow you to pick from 12 of your most recent pics. It would be better if you could access your whole gallory.

Love Ebay this is the only way I shop. Sad tho bcuz I've spent thousands of dollars n I've received so much of the stuff broken or not as described n 1/3 of the time I was protected by ebay n the other part the seller got by with it. They are strick on buyers but i think it needs to be the other way around But the positive side I've ran into some wonderful sellers who want to make the buyer happy.
