Eat This, Not That! Restaurant

I need a refund. They dont take sodium seriously enough. They would have me swap a 1300 mg item for a 3400 item because it is lower in fat, which, ironically, doesnt make you fat. (That would be sugar. ) i will update if they give a refund.

It works way better now than before still has some bugs but I just want them to update the menus more often.

So excited about finally having an app for this so I didn't have to always struggle with finding the book which has probably slid under my seat or turns out I grabbed the grocery one or last year's version instead of the one I actually needed. The app NEVER updated it's contents! It's literally the same choices and you have fewer resturants to choose from than what's listed in the books! Now I find myself digging for books and my phone trying to find healthy options for wherever I may be eating.

The developers need to update this app very badly. There is a lot of info that is out dated manly the menus. Once updated I will change my review and stars.

If I'm going to pay $5.00 for this app I'm going to need it to be WAY more up to date on the menu items, and the restaurants represented. I know it's impossible to have every menu item, or restaurant on the app, but I'm seeing menu items that haven't been around for 3 years. Sorely disappointed. It's handy to have for on the spot decisions about what to eat, but for the price tag I had hoped for more up to date information.

Developer should be banned from Google Play for such a shoddy expensive product. Content is old and buried in an interface full of bugs. Many UI elements don't line up or properly load. Text often doesn't have spaces or paragraph breaks (looks like it was copied from a pdf and never edited). For a paid app, I expected them to put some design effort into it.

I'd use this app a lot more if they'd improve the interface and make things a little easier. For the price, that's not asking too much.

When I first got this app all it did was crash. At least that was fixed. But it still needs updates. Of the restaurants that are even listed (I get that there are a lot), many of them have changed their menus so that you can't get a suggested swap. Case in point: Red Robin. Places like Wing Stop or Taco Bueno are missing, etc. If you're going to have an app available for this, you need to be updating the menus frequently.

Noah- so glad it works for you but it does NOT work on HTC Inspire. That is why we are giving low ratings.

Love your books & love this app BUT it's such a memory hog! Move to SD card please!

Actually helps/not just another useless app

It's a shame I paid for this app and have never been able to use it due to an ad glitch. I emailed support and waited over a month to let them fix it before giving a poor review

I open the app and it force opens a link in browser and goes no where.

If I may suggest, need to include Petro Travel Centers "Iron Skillet" & Travel Center of America's (TA's) Country Pride restaurants. Etc some of us Truck drivers would appreciate it.

I loved this app at first, but the BOOKS are more current. Disappointing to pay for an app that never updates.

New restaurants and menu items are missing. Waste of money.

I love the books and this app is a great idea. I was so excited to get it but it hardly works. Needs to be updated very badly. Once you input a meal that you ate, you can't erase it. When I typed Wendy's, nothing came up. The list goes on... please update.

Not impressed at all! There are very little choices and suggestions on this app. You can stand and look at the restaurant menu and have a better idea of what to eat. Most restaurants offer a calorie and nutrition brochure for free. I finished reading the app in 15 minutes. I thought buying an this app would be convenient. Waste of money.

App used to be good but now doesn't go past the ad. Sadly the ad doesn't even work. So now the app is useless.

I'm a huge fan of the "Eat This, Not That!" books and website, so when I saw an easy way to take ETNT with me, I jumped on it. You'll get a top swaps menu for most of the popular chain restaurants in America, featuring two or three swaps you can make, and a letter rating for most (but not all) of the foods and drinks served at these places. I love the letter rating system, but it's deficient in some places. (Why aren't the drinks at Starbucks rated? That's their main draw.) What you won't get are the awesome lists that can be found on the website. What if I wanted to take my 50 Best Snack Foods list with me? Too bad. It also has an option to track calories, but I don't use it because it's clumsy. I wish I could go from looking the food up on the grade menu straight to adding it to my calorie counter, but I have to go back to the menu screen, load up the calorie counter, then look up my food and add it. Would definitely like to see some more restaurants. Caribou Coffee has over 400 locations, Atlanta Bread Company has 110; take a guess who gets the nutritional analysis.

It looks like it would be a great app, but I can't get it to load anything besides the calorie tracker and option menu. Disappointing on my HTC Inspire.

Ridiculous! I paid 5 dollars and haven't been able to open this app once!

I keep getting a browser pop up ad that won't load properly and I can't get around it to get back into the app. Used the email to contact the app provider and it doesn't work. DON'T buy. Have the Galaxy Nexus.

I got this ap based in large part on how much I enjoyed their books. Unfortunately, it seems that that book sitting on my bookshelf gets updated about as much as this ap. Menus are constantly changing, and I expect this ap to keep up a little. There are also typos in a lot of the entries for restaurant items. A single item will be listed more than once with different calories and a different grade. That being said, still a good ap that will absolutely help you make healthier choices at fast food joints.

It's good for the most restaurants but wish there was a search option for stores not listed
