About EasyPay for end user
EasyPay is a universal mobile App for small number payment that does not depend on NFC technology or any bank and aims to make daily payment easier, securer, not using paper receipts any more.
In order to enhance security of barcode usage in EasyPay, a barcode is dynamically generated each time a payment is to be committed, and this newly generated barcode maintains its own status and has a short life time, one minute. After one minute, this barcode is not valid anymore no matter whether it is scanned or not; the same barcode can’t be reused after a payment even though it’s still within its life time.
It is very easy and cheap to put EasyPay into use. End users need to have a smart phone with camera. However, for retailers, it is optional to have it. Given that Ruter AS would use EasyPay for selling Enkeltbillet, what they need to do:
1. Register Enkeltbillet as a goods with EasyPay’s backend system
2. Barcode for this goods is generated and sent to Ruter AS
3. Ruter AS put those barcodes on busses, metro
People who has smart phone with camera can now buy Enkeltbillet on buss, metro by scanning the barcode.
The last, but not least, EasyPay is a universal solutions for mobile payments, not dependent on any particular retailers, however, it’s possible for retailers to customize it, i.e. making unique look & feel of receipts.
