EASE Applications Messaging

Wow! Who would of thought something so simple as an app could give you so much comfort. Waiting 8 and 9 hours for your child to be done with surgery can be so stressful. Receiving these little updates make you feel like your right in the room

Used this app when my son had surgery today. Worked very well, but I wish there was a way for the person on the receiving end to be able to log out after going home

I appreciate this app for standing next to my son as if I were in the room

Great idea, but poor execution. End user interface is lacking, with no way to add recipients later on, and no way to even review previous updates. App sends invites as text msg through your phone to selected contacts, but not surgery updates. You have to check inside the app for those, and once viewed, they disappear

It's an must app for any parent with a baby in the NICU or a child in extended hospital care. I love the chime when I receive an Ease update. It's like I Got Mail via AOL.

Awesome App!!!

The ease app made the wait for my son's surgery easy. Without this app I would have waited in the pre/recovery room until my son's surgery was complete. The hospital staff provided an update approximately every 25 minutes. The only downside is sometimes I had to turn the WiFi settings on and off to receive an update. The need to update the Wifi settings was a minor inconvenience that is easy to forgive due to the peace of mind of the notifications from the hospital staff. Thank you!

This app should be available in every hospital! My son had surgery and they kept us update the whole time! Thanks so very, very much!

Just wish there was a button to press if you wanted an update. Other than that the app was amazing and loved getting the updates! Much better than not knowing anything all day!!

My 17 year old son had a major 12 hour surgery on his back two years ago at Arnold palmer hospital in Orlando fl. This app was not available then. On Christmas in 2015 he had another 4 hour surgery on his back. They were able to give me up dates every half hour on his progress by using this app. It was very helpful. The doctors gave me step by step instructions on his progress. It is much better than waiting biting your nails wandering what's going on. Thank you

This app allows you to be updated with text pictures & videos while your child is in surgery. It gives you peace of mind and reassures you through the hours, what an amazing app!!!

I received updates on my husband several times during his surgery and it really helped keep the stress and worry down to minimal levels. More doctors should use this to communicate with loved ones throughout a surgery, instead of having families walk around not knowing for possibly hours.

Didn't work at all for me. I entered in the access code and all it showed was a survey to rate my experience. My grandmother is still in surgery but the app thinks she's done.

I was able to stay informed with my son's surgery. It's a great app!!

Could never connect to the patient

I live this app. Some of the pictures can be a little gruesome for the common person. I however find it very informative. My daughter had open heart surgery twice now. The first one she had and this app wasn't availible yet. Although they had told us about it. She had a cath procedure done and the app was. As well as the 2nd open heart surgery she had. It put me and my wife's mind at EASE when we got video and pictures about the performance and how she did during the surgery. I love this app

Heard about this through a friend & made sure the hospital my wife and i went to was part of the Ease App network. She chose to get texts, images, and videos of my procedure. You can opt for as much or as little info as you want. Added family members across the state to the group so they got the same real time updates. This app is amazing. When my wife goes into delivery soon, we will be using this. It seemed a little scary for her at first but i know i felt better knowing she was outside being informed.

We used this app for our baby's heart surgery. Truly amazing. The updates, videos and pictures were incredible! Calmed our nerves knowing we'd get information as they went.

Very creepy but is very nice I think this is wonderful app to keep me and other parent inform of everything.
