Med Helper Pro Pill Reminder

Best application for medical assistance I have found. It helps me with stock and medication time. However the latest update ruined the black theme. Now I must use the white theme. But that hurts my eyes..... I have reported it to development. And they'll hopefully​ fix it as soon as possible.

When you click on taken at it closes to restart or feedback. Which I have done feedback emails at both places. I depend on this app. I bought the paid one and it still does it, very very disappointed.

I've been using this app for years with no problems. Got a new phone and couldn't sync my meds so I entered all my meds manually. Reminder alarm is only going off sometimes, meaning I'm missing important meds! I've tried everything and nothing is working so it looks like I'm going to need a new app! Very disappointing!

Been using app for years and it has been a life saver for me. Never have had any issues whatsoever. Kudos to the development team. I would however like to see the app expanded to include cloud storage. This, in my opinion, would add a new dimension to the app which is sorely needed. Regards

Good program to manage my many meds. However I cannot see the menus that contain the options for exporting data, etc. I just get a black box. Same for the feedback menu. I can still select the options, but its hit or miss as to what I select. I have since figured out the problem. If I switch to black background, I can see the menu options. The black box only shows up when the white background is selected. I found the preferences button by pressing different parts of the black box.

The app is a little quirky and has a few bugs but does the core job of medication tracking well. Unfortunately it shows little sign of being actively developed with over two years since the last update and that has become a stopper for me.

This app had helped make my transition into the #chronicallyawesome lifestyle, and managing all of my meds so much easier. I have had it for several years and can't live without it. The only thing I wish it had was an automatic backup /sync option. I know it can be done manually but I have a terrible memory.

Last update to this program was June 2014 and while my previous review was 5 stars, I've had to lower that. I need something I can sync to one of my cloud drive accounts, but the developers seem to have abandoned this program. I've requested information time and again regarding the status of their cloud sync and have gotten nothing in return. It seems I'll have to find another solution. But, hey... it was good while it lasted!

When on my computer, I may not touch this phone for hours & also, this morning I turned the phone on at 6am. I was not reminded even 1 hr after I should've taken my medicine at 8.30am. If I have to remember to move the phone at the right moment then I had might as well just remember to take my medication. I followed all of your suggestions and gave it a real chance; still no good.

Anyone else have a problem where now app will not show an orange plus sign in notofication bar when med is scheduled.???? Please assist. I tried every setting I can find. Thank You.

Great program to maintain my medical information and medication logs, but developer seems to have abandoned the app. Over 2 years without updating. Multiple comments regarding cloud sync are ignored. Comment in 2013 by developer indicated cloud support being developed, but no progress has been reported.

I wish this could sync online with other devices but without that it is still an invaluable asset in tracking medications.

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4 Android version 5.0.1 Lollipop Med Helper Pro version 2.7.6 After my phone updated to Lollipop the "Light Theme" stopped working properly, the drop down menus are black text on a black background, unreadable. I am using the dark theme for now but the light theme is easier to read if you can fix it.

I just need to find out if there's a way to transfer the data from my old phone to my new phone! PLEASE HELP!

Since the latest software update the alarms no longer work. What is the point of a reminder that doesn't remind. I have cancer and relied on this for all my mefs. Now it doesn't work

I use the software to chart ALL of my meds, including OTC and nutritional supplements. I would love to see an interaction-checker and a little more flexibility in the "prescriptions" records.

I recently had a new medical issue that caused me to have 8 new scripts to keep track of. Different amounts, different times of day, different days. Med Helper Pro helped track all of those, and with the inventory, WOW, I just call my pharmacy when I tell Med Helper to remind me! Since updating to lollipop on Samsung s5 pressing the three dot icon for settings just bring up a black box. You then have to guess where too press within the box to enter specific info. I do realise you can do the same in med log but would be handy/easier to just click three icon settings menu.

Hasn't been updated for a couple of years despite serious flaws e. g. its potentially great facility for tracking prescription repeats just does NOT work, despite bringing this to developer's attention! Don't waste YOUR money!

This app has made life easier when it comes to taking medication. It also runs great on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S6 Edge.

Having just had an accident I needed to be able to manage my meds.This app did the trick and more. When I had a query about something they replied within a day and gave me the solution. Very happy with it. It will also help me manage my family's meds as well, as we have an elderly member who has one or two tablets.

The best app of its kind. It seems perfect in every way. Suggestion: How about an option to import descriptions of medicine into the corresponding fields. i.e., reactions, side effects, etc. Just a thought...A+++

There is no such animal as a perfect program, but this one sure comes close. As a 60 year old, it took a little figuring out and one email to the website which was answered immediately. Do I see things that I would like to change, of course I do, but the best that I can say is that after giving the free version of the program a trial, I bought the app. I highly recommend this app for people with chronic conditions,,, One of mine is short term memory loss and I tried the program JUST to track Take as Needed drugs,,,, Which works wonderfully and that led me to putting in all of my scheduled meds,

This program is great at helping you remember to take your medications on time and keep a list of your prescriptions. It's very straight forward and easy to use for those goals BUT, it's very DIFFICULT to extract info on past usage. If you wanted to show your doctor how often you forgot to take a specific medication, forget it. If you want to determine the average number of pain meds you take a day? That's not gonna happen. Plus, I could never get the graph function to work (Nexus7) which was a real disappointment. REQUEST: It would be great to have a note function attached to individual doses. For example, if I don't take one of my scheduled doses, it would be great to add a note to that specific dose entry to explain why it wasn't taken. (Then allow easy access to that entry without having to search for that specific dose. Maybe a list of missed meds?) Thanks!

I have been waiting for this app for a long time. It does 99.9% of everything I need. User for 4 years & still love the app.

Exactly what I needed and is such an asset. This replaced several apps that only allowed me to track one aspect of my treatment at a time.

Calling this a pill reminder is diminishing its abilities. I track every appointment, every vital reading, every question for every doctor, every medicine name and dosage. This app is essential for seniors and parents. Tracks multiple patients. Only request is for a way to delete multiple notes at one time.

My work wiped my device and I've lost years of historic data kept within MedHelper as well as critical med schedules. I had a backup but it was on the device. Needs to urgently support the cloud or SD card

Lollipop screwed it up. Menus have dark blue background and black font making them unreadable. Can you fix this please?

Would be nice if it could be move to sd with all the information you put in to it it would save a lot of work on new phone its a great app i love it.

When I show nurses this app their eyes get very big and want to know what its called. They can't believe all the features it has.

Great program to maintain my medical information and medication logs. Only issue is lack of AUTOMATED backup. I use a reminder program for a reason (cause I forget?). I have the method of saving the backup file offline (Folder Sync) automatically, I just have to remember to do the backup

Only complaint is that I wish appointments would sync with regular calendar

I would never keep on track without this app!! This is literally the only way I keep on top of my pain and the limits I can control with my daily conditions. I appreciate those who made it!!

Very well done! I tried, and purchased in many cases, a lot of apps for this. This is the only one that had most all the features I needed. The only thing missing is cloud integration, and I see on the website that it is in the works.

Does not sync With Other devices

I rarely pay for apps, but after trying out the free version, I upgraded to the pro, and have been using it a couple years. Makes hospital visits much easier, as I can easily email or export a list of my meds and what I've taken that day, and the schedule keeps me on track. Perfect for the chronically ill!
