Most of us are experiencing the same issue of app freezing then shutting down. I exchanged several emails with the app developers and they claim the problem stems from a Google issue. Than why are ALL OTHER apps working fine? C'mon Eagle Tribune, get with it.

All you have to do is go into App Manager on ur phone and delete the cache and/or data...unlimited reading for free!

How do you expect anyone to pay for a poorly updated app with mutiple typos and issues. I use to love the eagle tribune until I received more updated news on social media networks than I did on this poorly developed app

We have to pay now?! Ridiculous.

Once it decided it could milk people, the product which was already mediocre, became worse. Very little news, lousy graphics, poor layout. Somebody should simply create a new mobile site and make it free again.

Since Google update app crashes. Unable to read without it shutting down. App used to be good. I pay for both electronic and paper edition but this app hasn't worked in months!

I paid for both print and digital versions of the paper. Although I follow the link from the email I get every day, I can't see the stories. The login system sucks and customer service can't help.

Have a regular newspaper subscription and found out they offered an electronic version of the paper using this app. Unfortunately it was so buggy trying to use it on my Galaxy S5, it's useless..any attempt to scroll through an article would immediately cause it to crash to the home screen or give me the message the app had stopped working.

Keeps shutting down. Can never finish reading anything. Been happening for about three weeks now

Cannot complete 1 article before "Eagle tribune has stopped" message comes up. This happens 99% of the time.

App is awful, always stops and shuts down.

Older version worked great this version is terrible. Same as with their web site. Just does not work. Worst new app out there.

Terrible layout, clunky navigation, riddled with ads, amateurish design. And a total money grab. What a waste. The Tribune had a good app on its hands, then this junk. Clearly, the owners of this paper are more interested in selling subscriptions. Don't waste your time.

Updated review from me: this app has gone from good to bad to now much worse. The layout of the app is actually annoying to read. Such a bad decision considering that it could have gone deeper into an advertising-support mode. I mean, who does this paper think it is, WSJ?

It needs to be put back to the way it was, its not mobile friendly

Only the Lawrence/Andover edition is available on android. Previously all 3 editions were available. I hope this app will be fixed so i can once again have full access to all editions of the paper. Paying for news is fair. I am baffled people would expect to get news for free. Someone has to pay the salaries of employees. Would you work for free on your job?

Just uninstall it every 30 days and delete the data on the app after evry 5 articals and it becomes free :) ... but still the layout is garbage.

News should be free. Uninstalling after years of use.

Past two updates have created a disorganized feed with less content. Why would anyone conider paying for this?

The old app was fine! Ruined a good thing!

Pay to see articles. No way! Hate,the new layout too. Yuck. Done!!!!
