EAA AirVenture 2017

The app has been running fine. The only problem I've had is that it keeps using a lot of battery. It would be great if when you opened a, schedule it would automatically go to the current date and time. It would also be great if it could be connected to the web schedule

This is very disappointing. These apps are very common at conferences these days and are normally very helpful. I cannot imagine what these folks were thinking. This app is strictly stand alone. All data is local to the device on which it is installed. It is not integrated with the planner on the EAA website. If you set up your schedule on the EAA website and want it in your device(s), then you must reenter it in each device.

Terrible app. Search is lame (searching for "battery" doesn't find "Batteries America." Searching for "3DRC" yields no results. Searching for "Stan Lee" yields no results.) Exhibitors don't have their URLs listed. If I were a vendor I'd be upset about this. There's no map -- an aerial photo is not a map! Every pilot knows this; why don't you?

One crash after another. After last year you'd think EAA would work a little harder, but no.....

Craah craah crash. Just like last year. Really a distraction and nuisance. Just use the paper guide they give you with your arm band.

I was never able to get this year's app to work on my phone (LG Ultimate 2 running Android 4.4.2). It would always crash when I selected a forum, exhibitor, or anything else. The most recent update doesn't get past the opening screen - that "wait" graphic just spins forever. It doesn't matter whether I had locations services on or off, or whether I installed it on the SD card or the phone, this app kept crashing. This is the first year that I have had a problem with the app - I've had no problems with the three previous versions.

For people with android phones were app keeps crashing you must turn on location in phone settings to get the app to work.

Totally unusable since it crashes upon selecting anything from the menu.

Crash. Crash. CRASH. Totally unusable. It worked last week, but now that I'm at the conference it just crashes. Also, it doesn't download my schedule from the website. They are totally independant. Yuck!

Great app but I have two devices and there doesn't seem to be any way to sync my schedule between them.

Ap will not install correctly. The ap is therefore disfunctional and useless.

Need a forum for using this application, sort forums by content.

I was going to post a glowing review as this will make organizing my agenda so much easier. However I hit a snag that resulted in only 3 stars. I spent a couple hours going over the events and forms to set my agenda, but then an update to the APP last night seems to have deleted all my itinerary. Very annoying!!

App looks good with clean intuitive icons. Only fix I would make is in map view with the icons, I would like to pinch to zoom and navigate on a full screen instead of just the top 1/4 of the screen.

Better than past years, but giant ad screen covers most viewable space and makes app very difficult to use

The User Agreement states it is subject to Livalities privacy agreement and that they may use your personal information in accordance with it. However they do not provide the privacy agreement, a link to it and I cannot find it on the web. Deleted it until the provide that agreement for review.

Steaming like of shite! Crash, crash, crash. Gets worse every year.

App won't run on my Droid Turbo 2. The phone is a month old and on the latest available operating system. It displays the loading screen for a few seconds then crashes and sends me back to the main Android screen. I sure hope this gets fixed before the show as I've relied on it in the past to make sure I reach the events I want to attend. Latest update installed last night. Still crashes every time I attempt to start it.

Great idea, and I want to love this app and use it, but it quickly uses all of the battery. Has happened two days in a row. Uninstalling.

I love that EAA has an app for AirVenture every year. The app allows you to create an itinerary and will notify you when you have an event coming up. The only way to make this app better is to add a 'login' section so that you're able to work on your schedule from the app as well as the website with your user name and password or to do it with your EAA number. It would be nice to work on your personal itinerary from multiple devices.

It won't stop "installing updates"... Come on now

Phone is a new Moto G. Less than a month old with new operating system. Downloaded the app and it will not open. Please fix this bug.

Were is the list for exhibitors? Half the fun of OSH is looking / buying from exhibitors.

Crashes right after opening on Galaxy s7 edge.

In-app navigation not entirely intuitive. Would like option for events and forums to be listed like they are in the Airventure Today newspaper... time block, location, event title and speaker. Forums revert to alphabetical when back button used to return from looking at location and summary info. Would like the ability to show all food and beverage icons on the map, and then be able to select one to figure out who runs it and the location's menu...there are times where I just want to know what's closest. Landscape view not supported.

Ok, a plug for event and local instead if this app....Just outside the South gate, Thursday night brats & beer, corn & cake gets more fun every year! I think this year they may have music and stay later! We love camping at the oasis that is the Seaplane Base.

map app crashes on load every time on Galaxy Tab S. Also crashes on a note 3 upon launching map

Please fix the back button so it doesn't take me back to the first page.
