The brightness of the camera is si low!!!! And obviously it cannot detect any face... Really bad copy of MyNBA2k17.... You could put this feature directly on the console

I got a lot of street cred on NBA live 16...one of the best but my facescan never work on my android for live 16 like this one ..I use Samsung galaxy and my blu phone and never work.. I'm very disappointed I'm haveing the same problem on 18.. NBA 2k17 took your concept and did it with perfection ... I hate NBA 2k as of 2k17.. I really hope this be fix soon.. You might lose a lot of fans that you earn there respect cause of this.. Not everybody rocks iOS phones or iphones or iPads.... Most people use android.. Hope EA listening!!!!

This app is horrible. Honestly I got my face to scan 10 times and it always says an error occurred. Nothing like hair or anything like that is on my face so at this point the app is just horrible.

It's so God damn stupid the face thing do sent work at all and when I did get it after 2 God damn hours it said the rendering failed I was about to throw this stupid phone across the room because of how bad this face scanning thing is and the it's saying I have to scan my face to play and it's not letting me play

Sadly it doesn't seem to work. I scan my face, it proceeds to generating my face but then says "Render Failed." My phone is steady and my lighting is good. Let's figure it out and solve the issue.

this app is complete trash. This is why 2k will always be better because ea is too busy with madden and fifa. They can't even put together a face scan app let alone an entire basketball game. Fix the app ea

Its absolute horseshit. Im trying to scan my face and 90% of the time it doesnt work, the other 10% it says scan complete but it never renders it. Do not download this app as it is just a waste of time.

Best advice for face scan: 1. Have good lighting (preferably natural sunlight) 2. Keep your eyes on the camera (DO NOT look at the screen or move your eyes away) 3. Move your head slowly and smoothly. (Don't stop mid turn or move your head up and down) Ps. I have galaxy s8 and it came out perfect!

Don't know what I expected from the worst gaming company in America. Scanned 5 times and each time it said there was a rendering error. Absolutely garbage.

Needs High level of lighting to scan but this is state of the art stuff! The first scan was close...but I used wrong skin tone...I was brown with closely cut hair. Laughed pretty hard. 2nd scan took :23 but was 97% accurate, except for hair again. Shorter wait time to Finish if done before 2P Eastern I found. Requires Patience at 1st ~ 1st timer

I'm trying to scan my face and I go very slow when it tells me to turn my head however it does not work. I currently have an adroid phone. Reason why I say that is because it seems like all android users are having issues. Please fix this because I am looking forward to using this for NBA Live 18.

This is a waste of space on my phone, render failed literally every time I tried this. There is only so much lighting a person can get in their house. Go back to the face scan of FIFA. That worked 100 percent of the time. Okay, I tried outdoor light, indoor light, all kinds of light. I used a stand and this POS app still WILL NOT WORK. What's the point of promoting this on your demo when clearly it needs tweaking? I give it a -⭐

Honestly a broken app. I have no idea how it works for Apple phones but I have a Google Nexus 5x. And it is constantly giving me error messages. I wasted over an hour last night and about an hour today trying to scan my face. Out of all of those times I only correctly rendered my face 2x. Both times my skin tone was off so I had to redo it. Very aggravating. I tried to have patience with it. Needs to be fixed Constant problems recognizing my face. The slightest movements make it malfunction. And it can never render a preview. "Something went wrong". Please fix this.

I never normally review apps but this is seriously such an appalling attempt that I had to leave feedback. I have wasted so much time trying to get to to work in so many different lighting situations, distances, and even on different phones. A complete waste of time.

I have tried numerous of times to scan my face with all types of light. I am a light skinned person. so I figured that I wouldn't need so much lighting but it really doesn't matter. The app seems to work fine until u get to the scan part. I'm have an Android phone. And tried to use it on my girls friend phone and it doesn't work either.. EA really needs to fix this issue..

damn thing just don't work. come on ea get it together. my skin tone can't be edited never comes out correct I'm dark skin but my body is white. Takes forever to even upload the face scan or just doesn't upload at all or you can't even sign in

I am having the same issues with the face scan. It has been 10 minutes not moving my head, lighting part check, but it keeps failing to do so. As it is, this app is broken smh.

I've tried multiple time over a course of several days and none of my scans went through i kept getting the same pop up "render failed" I've tried all the guide lines and fixes nothing has worked. My room is well lit, if 2k can render me in well in this light so should you

This app is trash, how can they get it right the first time it was introduced and just completely mess up the second time. NBA Live Devs, you don't have the luxury of making mistakes like NBA2k devs at this moment. This is a horrible first impression of making a comeback. I never had this much problems when you guys first introduced the face scan. You better hurry up and and get this app fix before the nba2k18 prelude.

Horrible scanning technique. The phone is so close to my face it casts shadows which makes the app not read it when I'm turning my face. Piss poor planning went in to making this app. I only got it to work once but the skin tone I chose didn't even come close to what they body on the game resembled and my head was pea sized. Why can't I edit the color of the body or at least change the skin tone after I see the body? Waste of time. Android S7 user

The scan worked fine, my face was great ......BUT no matter what I changed my skintone to my black face and neck always had white skin. I heard it doesn't do this on Apple so I'll give it a shot. It isn't the camera because I'm using the Pixel (highest rated camera)

What a waste. Completely unusable, I've tried this at least 50 times, not kidding. And on the 5 times it's worked, "ERROR." They rushed this out without even trying to make it work. This really only works if the developers do it for a YouTuber.

I tried numerous times to finish the scan and EACH TIME IT SAID RENDER FAILED!!!! THIS APP NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP!!! I have a Galaxy S7 and thats the message I constantly got. Improvements to this app is much MUCH needed. Very frustrating SMH!!!!

The app works fine. Set your phone against a wall or something to keep the phone still while you turn your head and outside with the sun or a bright overcast day and it works every time. Rendering takes a minute though. My only issue is the game won't let me match my face skin tone to my body skin tone without choosing a different face. EA needs to do an update for that before the game comes out and allow you to choose skin tones seperately from the face selection.

Samsung S7 Numerous "Render Failed" messages. The scans worked fine, seems as if the app can be great, however if it doesn't do what it's created for, I cannot rate more than 1star. Please fix.

App is ok got my face scan to work but every time I try to change my player info I get an error message if that get fixed then this is most definitely a 5 star app. *Update * finally was able to get my player info to save. 5

The app is good but it sucks for Android users. People with apple phones have no problem with their camera rendering a decent render whereas Android users always try to get the right setup and it will either go all the way and say it failed indicating something went wrong and to try again or say scan failed. Try again. My first render was good but when I put it in the game, it made me look like I was white. I wanted to change the skin color but wasn't able to without having to do a new scan. Tried over 20 times to do a new render only for it to NOT let me do so.... PLEASE GET THE CAMERA FIXED ON THIS APP!! I WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO A GOOD RENDER WITH THE CORRECT SKIN TONE!!!

I got past all the scanning and stuff but whenever it tried to show maid e the preview it said failed to render. This hapoend 3 times so it's a no go for me. Fox that problem and I'll be fine with this App

This companion app is half ass on Android. I've heard people experiencing less problems on iPhone yet the Android experience has been terrible. The face scan area is significantly smaller on Android resulting in lots of errors and failed attempts.

No matter how much light, where I try to scan, it always gets to the end to create a preview, and just fails. No reason provided which makes it even worse "something went wrong, rescan"

I gotta take back what I said earlier, all you need is good lighting and to stay super steady and look directly in the camera, my scan, after a few redos, came out perfect, way better than 2ks, which I did last year and it looked terrible. Only thing I don't like are the commentary names, CJ isn't there, neither is Jordan, but just find good natural lighting, stay steady and slow, align your face as much as you can with the white outline, look directly in the camera and you should get a good face scan

This app simply put..... is trash! I have Samsung S8 and I've spent 2 hours scanning my face over 30 times and I finally just gave up. I keep getting the same "can't render content" or "scan failed" error msg. I have a new phone, great lighting and it all doesn't help.

Trash compared to ios app. I've honestly tried to scan about 20 times and the same result is always the outcome. Fails to render at all. App needs to be redesigned.

This app is terrible. Tried to scan face keeps telling me no face detected or incorrect size smh. Had enough light I thought.

Pure TRASH!!!!! Cannot believe that they would release an app this crappy and broken. Would take forever to let me scan my face. Then after 20 attempts, it tells me that there was an error in rendering!!! Just a waste of time...

Hot garbage this is why people play 2k. Because when they have something that is supposed to work it does and if it doesn't they respond to there community and fix it promptly. Yet another let down from nba live. I truly am a supporter of this product I want it to be great but maybe it has just been to long or the developers no longer care but how about just a little consideration for your consumers you know the ones who your gladly take 60 bucks from per game. It's not as if we are talking about a small publishing house this is EA for Christ sake

This app is good it took me only two tries to scan my face. Just hold ur phone up against something or use a stand and have good lighting. Don't rate it low because u can't get your facescan right.

I tried this app and over 60 different light settings. I've come to the conclusion that doesn't work and those that say it does are paid individuals by EA

This app is great, scanning your face isn't hard you just have to line your face up with the white line and look at the camera. The only things wrong with this is that I lost my facescan earlier and I had to rescan and you cant change your hair and facial hair, but if you could this app would be 5 stars for me
