ABOUT
eDad is an easy to use, effective, and cost efficient medium of reminding patients when to take their medicine.

FEATURES
*Very easy to use and can achieve all functionalities with a few taps.

*The service is platform independent such that the patient does not require a special device or service provider to enjoy eDad services. The service is also availed from the web ensuring that the pharmacist can use the service from whichever platform he/she finds suitable.Pharmacists with non-android mobile phones may prefer to use this web option.

*The names of medicines are replaced by variably colored stickers in order to further enhance security of patient information.

HOW IT WORKS
It works by presenting a diary-like interface where the pharmacist uploads the details of the patient.
The app captures only the number of the patient and the prescription for the patient.
The prescription data captured comprises of the quantity, frequency, and duration of the treatment dose.
For simplicity and confidentiality purposes, the app captures color codes instead of the actual names of the medicine. This ensures there is no confusion (drug names might be confusing to the patient), and ensures the privacy of the patient is protected.
On uploading the details of the patient, the server then sends SMS as per the instructions based on the patient’s prescription.
