Hero Lab Character Import

Pathfinder only... Loads d20(dnd3.5) por files... Lacking functional basic such as open file from location. Works but very poor. Expected better from lone wolf

Love the app how ever I'm having a problem viewing characters correctly characters imported from hero Labs as a.por it doesn't seem to show attribute points weapons equipped in fact the only thing it shows is their name and level this is a character from D&D 5th edition works beautifully for pathfinder characters though

Works great for pathfinder, but didn't import everything from 5e por files . Missing attributes, weapons, items, etc. I only noticed skills, ac, and hp.

Doesn't work with imported 5e character. Almost everything is blank except AC and HP basically.

Won't work for 5e. Please make this compatible for 5e. That's all my friends and I play.

Would be nice if this worked with 5e :(

Working as expected except kinetics blasts

This app does an excellent job of displaying my character information and all the relevant additional text. I like that it has a detailed description of class skills and feats so I don't have to remember what they do. There are some small tweaks that would make this app perfect like the ability to track daily usage of class skills or consumables like potions. I will rate this 5 stars because I'm sure these features are on the way.

Love it! Does dice rolls for you. It would be nice if you could add temporary modifiers to the rolls. HP tracking, everything. Oh, one more feature suggestion, the ability to apply status effects that change numbers. No need to do it hero lab style, just something that keeps it in memory in the app and alters the numbers without actually altering the portfolio. Overall though, thank you guys for this.

The app works great for importing characters, unfortunately it seems to be plagued with bad math and addind modifiers where there shouldn't be anything, like with d20 skills. Almost perfect, but not quite yet. Update: if you are going to be using this app for anything BUT pathfinder, forget it. Bad math, unrepresented skills and feats,

What I thought was just my lack of understanding on my part, turns out this app is not quite what it should be yet. The Hero Labs program on my computer works with multiple game systems... This app only works with the Pathfinder system. Needs updating!

I have a few characters I imported and this app can view them. Recently, however, I tried to import a couple different characters and the app crashes. It'd be nice to have it work.

Works just like it says it should. If you thought it created characters than you didn't read the info on it. Thanks for the great app :)

When I import my por file it doesn't show any stats? What am I doing wrong?

The App works as advertised, exactly what I was looking for. You cannot create or edit a character with this app. To everyone shocked you can't, do your research, don't get bent out of shape because couldn't be bothered to read the reviews OR the description by the publishers themselves.

This app is excellent. Truly a living character sheet. For the record, it works flawlessly with the new D&D 5E ruleset from Wolf Lair. Please disregard the other reviews saying this app cannot create character sheets. It clearly says that this app is a companion to Herolab, the PC/Mac application.

I can't see how I would use this. I needed a way to track and manage sheets on the go but this has everything except being able to create my own characters. Why is that not an option? A create your own file would be so helpful. Teacher me to read the notes. Otherwise this is just taking up space on my device.

This app seem to be well made, but I cannot find the app that will generate files for this app anywhere on the app store. It feels a little misleading to have multiple character sheet apps from the same developer available but no easy way to create a character. The app's discription says there is a character creation app, but I can't find it. Why not have them in the same app? Or at least provide a link the the app that makes this one useful. Disappointed.

Great app as a companion to hero lab on desktop. Noticed today that at least the two weapon fighting feat did not apply correctly in reduced penalties to attack bonuses. Going to use but will carefully scrutinize against hero lab on desktop before relying on stat propagation in the app.

I play in many campaigns at the same time so it's nice to be able to go to many places and not have to carry around my laptop or several sheets. My only complaint with the app is that kinetic blasts don't show up under the attack tab. Otherwise it has been perfect thus far.

If you look at the reviews you see a lot of people saying that you cannot create your characters on the App. They are correct. This app is meant to work with Hero Lab, an application for your computer, and display your files on the go. For that it works nearly perfect.

I should not have to read comments to see that there is no creation for a charger sheet app. What is the point. This is a scam app.

This is a great app for viewing characters imported from Hero Lab, exactly what I was looking for since the herolab folks are only working on an ios port. Psionics don't show up yet, but I hear they're working on it. Shows up differently on my phone KitKat vs. my tablet Lollipop. Nice.

I seriously had to come in here to tell all the idiots who are griping "I can't make any character" AS.INTENDED. The app to make characters takes gig's and gig's of space... thus the reason it's on PC. Know what you're doing before you whine.

You can't edit characters within the application. I have to buy another application to do so? Ripoff

Love the potential of this app, however... Need to update, does not factor traits, vigor, damage reduction, and alternative rules available in Pathfinder Hero Lab.

Doesn't properly fill in all fields. Missing at least maybe 75% of my character's stats/gear.

I can't update or create a character kinda lame since it cost money

I do not like this app at all. It does not make characters, it only imports characters you have elsewhere. If you don't already have characters with the suffix required, this app is worthless to you.

I can't better yet it won't let me import a character ... I have tried resetting and reinstalling but it still won't allow it? Help please.

Love the app. Well worth the cost, but I wish it was able to support psionics.

The only complaint that I have about this app. Is the fact that if your character has a mount, and you load the .por it loads the mount as another character. I loaded my campaigns characters, and now my list has 5 characters, and 5 mounts. I couldn't imagine trying to load multiple campaigns. Yes I know it's not designed for other people's characters as well, but if someone misses game, this is a good app to have someone run their character if needed.

This seems like a great app but those promised features I am just wondering if they are still being developed?
