Fun little app, but it could use a speed setting as it is a little too fast for small rooms.
It works. But kinda pointless.
I have not downloaded it because it says it needs access to contacts? Why

This app is making my Sphero roll all around the apartment as I write this, and my cat is totally into it. The app is super-simple and generally works great. Might be nice if it had some settings or preferences you could apply.
I originally rated this app low but have since then changed my mind. This app is great & I plan on buying the premium version today. You can turn off your screen or even use other apps on your phone while this one is active. The best part is that it blows my kids' minds. They think that I'm secretly controlling Sphero but I keep telling them, "No, he just does whatever he wants." I think they're starting to believe that he's really alive. ;)
I use this for playing with my toddler. He loves it!
Does what it says, but most of the time struggles to initially connect and half the time not at all (sphero v1). More information than "connecting" would be useful. Using the official sphero app first seems to help.

I had my Sphero on my desk, a good 2' 6" off the (hardwood) ground when I decided to try this app out. Thinking that it would surely have a brief explanation & a start and stop button. Wouldn't you know it, my Sphero instantly dives off the desk & onto the ground! What kind of crap is that?! I'm lucky it still works after having fallen a foot higher than is deemed a safe fall height! That aside, why does Sphero have to move at full speed all the time? Make a setting to slow him down.
Kids love chasing the ball. Chase that ball.
Sphero keeps running even when the app is closed how do you shut it off?
Just says "connecting" but doesn't connect.
This doesn't work at all on my device. It always crash.

Connected and worked fine, but needs a speed limiter. Sphero moves too quickly and dangerously.
