The name “Tia” comes from Martha Christina Tiahahu, a Moluccan freedom fighter and a National Heroine of the Maluku Islands.

Her bravery, courage and independent nature inspired “Mils” (Emilia) ethnicity as a fellow Moluccan to come out and showcase her individual approach of inner struggles to freedom through the eyes of Fashion.
