Spot It!

Spot It! lets you save a geographical location you want to return to. when you are ready to return, use an intuitive visual aid based on the power of Google Maps™ mapping service to help you find your way back.

Spot It! helps you find your way back to places such as:
*Where you parked your car.
*A new fishing spot.
*Trailhead
*Campsite
*A location you want to return to in order to get a good photograph.
*A restaurant or store you want to return to while touring a city new to you.

Spot It! was developed for my own personal needs working as a photographer, naturalist, hunter and guide. The Spot It! mobile application is most valuable to me especially when I am working in rural locations where cell phone service is available but roads and streets may not exist.

Spot It! uses the GPS, orientation and motion sensors in mobile devices in order to determine your current location and movement. Depending on your location, Spot It! will require a mobile data connection when a WiFi connection is not available in order to retrieve mapping information from the Internet.

Privacy

The Spot It! application currently does not capture or track information about the application's users. The application does make use of display advertising. Such advertising may include keeping track of your interests and could affect the types of advertising displayed according to your personal privacy settings. Such tracking information is maintained by Google and we do not have access to their data.
