Takes a long time to load. It is not synced with your duoLingo account as to where you are in your lessons. Review is always good but the favorite option is only available for an entire deck instead of a single card that you might be having a problem remembering. It got stuck on the second deck and I could not use the back button or the home button. It isn't compatible with my tablet but duoLingo is? Not worth the data usage on my phone.

I love this addition to Duolingo, but a couple issues... 1) You should be able to hit the back button to get to the previous menu, and not have to return home each time to once again select your module. 2) Bluetooth audio is choppy and delayed in the app. Other than that, it's great!

by Q####:

Embarrassingly slow load time. Even had to hard stop and restart it 3 times already! Love the Duolingo app, but this one wasn't ready for release to the masses. I could possibly understand this lag time if I was on an older, base model phone or a slow network. But I'm on a Pixel XL (Oreo) on an LTE network. Very disappointed. Update: The team very quickly fixed this issue. It is flowing far more smoothly now. Haven't used it enough yet to feel comfortable (because I couldn't use it at all earlier today), but bumping it up from 1 star to 4 stars for now. Nice turnaround time on responding to user problems.

The app doesn't work at all. It gives me an error. Could someone please assist?

Q70%
by Q####:

I'm looking forward to integrating it with my dualingo. Problem is I use email login since I don't have FB nor GP. Until that happens this app is pretty much useless for me and other users like me.

G70%
by G####:

Takes way too long to load, and only loads an error "webpage unavailable" but I already have a browser so I'm not entirely sure what I'm meant to be getting here...

W70%
by W####:

Doesn't work on my phone. Is continually loading until I get a blank white page then a message saying "the webpage you are looking for cannot be found"...I was not looking for a webpage.

Q70%
by Q####:

It's got potential but 1) it is slow 2) you can't review the entire course, only individual decks 3) back button does not work which never gets less frustrating. I'll keep using it for now, hoping it will be improved over time.

Incredibly slow loading time. Had a difficult time just getting the app to start! Hoping for a decent update soon. I am really looking forward to this app getting better.

Amazing concept, but I can't see myself using this as long as there is no integration with Duolingo. It's a massive pain to have to go through every lesson from the start again with no "test out" option like there is in Duolingo, and then to have to review each lesson individually instead of being able to select a "revise German" option or something similar. Things I like: + Runs smoothly + Words match those you would learn from Duolingo +++ Allows typing in answers, this is much more effective for learning than choosing from a list (and the main reason I want to use this app) Things I don't like: - doesn't integrate with your Duolingo progress - have to re do every lesson again from the beginning - no option to revise all cards from a group (e.g. "revise German") - animations take too long, will probably add up to a lot of time if you do a significant amount of cards.

The concept looks great and the flashcard bit of the app works well enough but there are far too many issues to let slip by. The app supports duolingo accounts but only Facebook login (while I used Google login) The back button just plain doesn't work at all When logging in the first time it wiped all progress made while logged out. But the main issue is really navigation. The back button is so broken to the point it becomes difficult to navigate the app. I'm looking forward to see the finished one because what this is now is little better than a proof of concept

Finally, long overdue. Have no problem logging in and all the features are there. But the experience is not as smooth as on an iPhone. Needs some UX improvements for sure.

I'm liking/love the website so hopefully I love the app as well

Q70%

Why does this look and navigate like an iOS app? There is no way to go back one level and the share icon is obviously borrowed...

I've gotten a lot of use out of these decks in the past using the web browser. Glad to get the Android app, finally!

Google sign in update: It STILL DOESN'T WORK, WHITE BLANK SCREEN! Doesn't work on my phone at all, even tho it's compatible... Duolingo works just fine but tinycards are loading (blue screen with logo) and then the only thing I can see is the white blank screen, what's going on? What is wrong? I was so excited and it doesn't work, I can't even sign in :(

Q70%
by Q####:

It's a start! Crowd-sourced quality is diverse. Animations are unnecessary and time-consuming. The back button doesn't work as expected: I want to return to the section I was searching, not have to go Home and scroll down and over. I'll join the beta-test and give more feedback.

Unfortunately, I get the splash screen and then just a blank white screen. I uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted. Same white screen.Tried to install it on my older phone but it won't support Tinycards. Help! I really want to try out this app! I love Duolingo.

Honestly this is a great app that's just going to get better with time. However I have one big complaint, there is no backing out from decks or even the menus. If you're searching for new decks or doing the strengthening runs and want to back out you have to start all over from the home screen instead of just backing up one menu. Seems like a big miss on that one with the functionality of the app. If that gets fixed it would be a solid 5 stars for me.

Good for memorizing, but still missing some basic features. It's really annoying i can't go back using my back button. Also, it doesn't even synchronize my word progress on doulingo...
