Clean looking app thats easy to use.. perfect

Clean and well laid out app, with some very interesting articles. Have had problems with news style apps in the past ranging from layout not working correctly on my screen but Descrier works great

I'm using this on an HTC Desire C, which struggles with most things. However Descrier works great on it: News headlines on the front page, then just slide right and there's a second menu where you can narrow it all down to UK, then further into Science, Technology, Music, all the usual subheadings are there, including audio if you want to hear the Pope's resignation speech. The only thing I couldn't find is a search function, but then that's probably asking too much of my phone let alone the app. Everything else is great, intuitive interface, enough content backed up by relevant multimedia like YouTube content, and if your train gets delayed due to slight breezes or snowflakes you can simply pull the screen up to access archived stories. Other neat touches include the ability to link stories to Twitter and Facebook and interact with Descrier as well as change the font size without having to pinch. Best of all is the writing style, very factual which is a breath of fresh air these days because everyone else wants to bog you down with opinion, hearsay and 'experts'. So in terms of getting the news on my HTC this is now the best app I know of, so recommend it highly.

Crashed soon after install, news isnt too 'new'. Good looking app though, like the layout.

Vivid, simple use of background colour is nice, easy to navigate with a wide variety of current topics/news.

Such a fantastic news app. Well written articles & news from all corners of the earth (and space). Definitely the best news app out there.
