HD Model Viewer for Android
I tryed to load up a model from super mario 64 (obj) and it had no textures, and some just didnt work at all.
First this app is beautifull and it works perfectly kind man, the thing that is bugging me is that when mesh is made only on one side like plane from other side it should be invisible and here is visible, thats a tiny thing but i like this app so much
The UI is very DOS like, doesn't apply textures when viewing an unzipped model which includes textures and all associated files but pretty good all around.
Would you like to give me some totorial for using material correctly like shinny metal, plastic material glass or transparent....Thank You :)
Cannot import pcx skins on md2. "Failed to load" and "Check the path". In a past version, the program worked. Edit : it works by renaming the .pcx file as the .md2 is named. If a .md2 has multiple skins, rename one .pcx file of your choice.
Displays well a few models I could import. Although I really wish it was possible to have complete control on the focal lenght. Perspective-ortographic isn't enough at all for my needs.
I like the simple interface and it does the job. Not sure why users are giving the developer bad comments. This app is really great and I'm using it on my tablet. Great job!!
Want to view .x files for fpsc......jet fighter has specular .jpg but does not seem to work when viewing it???? How do I configure a model in your program to look shiny???? can u make YouTube tutorial?
This app is OK...but not that efficient(I mean.....it cannot render high textures
Keeps failing to load mat and tga file formats
Why look at it just find a app to create your own OK
Doesnt import IFC files.... Otherwise good app
This is great but one problem it can't view built-in textures in fbx files
Last time i tried it, it was just fine... but it works really good now. Please keep up the work. Its amazing.
I've been viewing 3D models from NASA's website and this is the best free solution so far
Obj files coming out of wings 3D, have to be reversed on the x-axis. Other than that, so far so good.
Cool app
Some models have different renders and the app just stacks all of them simultaneously. And their should be a posing feature.
its crap doent open any format
only suggestion that someday this app can able to rigging or animate 3d object or can be able to augmented but this app is great.
TY - Has trouble with older versions.
Awesome
It certainly needs some more support like the fact that Bezier Curves don't render (at all) and all cycles shaders are great BUT... It's an amazing App. A lot of support and great developer communication.
first app that i hit 5 stars! heres cookies for you
The app is great for viewing 3d models. It is organized and easy to understand. + I had a problem with the app and the developer was rather quick to reply with a solution. 5 star
but it's quite unstable to use with pinch to zoom in or out and the rotation is like moon gravity, e.g. — Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, JellyBean rooted. — 0nly gestures interaction on zoom and rotation is the problem.
Helps me with looking at models to use in my art... I just wish there was more supported formats, but all the major ones are, so, I can't complain. :)
This app could easily load a full flat model with interiors. I exported sh3d file to wavefront obj. Then viewed in this app. Thanks developer.
Don't know what goes into programming something like this, but I can tell this app is a job well done. Displays large models smoothly even on a cheap phone. Heads up, there's an issue with incorrect back face culling, but good luck finding a better app...
This app is just too awesome. I am also making 3d obj viewer at a part of my app with rajawali. But it is giving me hard time. Can i know what library or tool you used for this app. Thanks
The app does not seem to be working on marshmallow, the buttons don't respond. On lollipop, it was a great app. UPDATE: Looks like this issue is still not fixed. The app seems to be responding to auto rotate, but it's like the screen is dead. No touches are detected. Please fix this. I'm using a Moto g2.
Awesome . the best app for 3D. The first time I received a developers support. Drake I am the Air bus guy. Thank you so much. My other files works so thank you.
Looks great but a few things wrong. 1. Recalculating normals sometimes results in weird reversed normals 2. Can't add a texture file to a UV mapped .obj
Truly great! Nice work
Would love it if it could read such .mesh files that are used in xnalara, I've found that there are quite a few people who want an app which could do this.
Its nice but it doesnt display the normals on my models
But I wonder if you guys can make it read .tga models
Opened obj, and object shows mirror. Left side is right, and other the same. Can send object, screens to improve error. But it's greater than others.
Kept looking for .mtl files in the windows folder I exported to. Should try the path given in the .obj and then if that fails, look in the same folder as the .obj

This app is really cool and all but how the hell am I going to get my textures to show up? They always fail to load, even with the obj's mtl downloaded or using an fbx file doesn't make a difference :'[
