DTC DUAT for Android

The app worked fine the first couple times I used it. After that, it invariably says to contact the manufacturer if trouble persists.... This really men's, uninstall and reinstall, so I did... Several times... Still nothing. My eyeballs are more reliable for weather. Lol

Tried to get airport info for a couple of airports, came back with "no results". Couldn't even provide current weather, after entering all info on the form it again came back with no results.

Can't use aircraft profiles saved on the system from my computer, and the flight planning tool won't auto route low altitude VOR routes. Buggy, unusable.

Will not recognize my login info because of autocap errors.

Bring them back please. The only reliable aviation service with no strings attached.

Lacks clarification of data to enter. When issue occurs, does not give any guidance on what went wrong. Poorly designed app.

This app is no longer approved by FAA & reliable for filing any flight plan. Also when filling in the details for a weather check or filing a flight plan, it always seems to type the letters double or triple the amount of the times.

App looks great, but no longer available through FAA. Can't retrieve any weather or flight info. Hope they renew their contract some day.

They seem to be American only and DCT Duat is NO longer approved by the FAA. I wish them success in getting their certification reactivated.

Bizarre auto correct errors. Wouldn't recognize my login. Didnt work for me at all.

Quit displaying airport info after upgrade to Android 4.4 or later upgrades. Quit working on Nexus 7 old and new version and LG VK810 4G. Was nice app. when it worked.

Quit working on my Droid but still works great on my Tab2. On Droid it won't show results just loops back to "recent requests."

Wasn't sure what to expect at first reading the reviews but I'm loving the app version almost as much as the website. Works well on my device. Make sure not to have a ton of stuff running in the background for best results.

doesnt work on my motorola. what gives?

Seems like it will be a great app. But I can't enter airport id codes on my galaxy tab.

I could not get this app to work, to many problems.

Can not enter Airport IDs or get that type of information on my Samsung Galaxy S3

Loads fine on the s3 now. Nice and simply controls and organization and also quite responsive (especially compared to other apps.) Flight planning function is weak but this is meant to be an weather briefing tool not a flight planning tool. Would get five starts off the graphical dates could be downloaded in a group and presented together

I'm very impressed by how well the first version is. My only problem is that it currently won't allow me to update my pilot profile in-app. Once that's fixed, I'll definitely upgrade my review to 5 stars!

I installed this app, setup my login information and obtained weather graphics & briefing data from my previously stored requests instantly. Keep up the good work DTC DUAT!

I am having the same data entry problem on my GS3 that others have mentioned. I found that if I turn the caps lock on, I can get it too work. So far, that has been my work around until they fix the bug.

Works perfectly on my EVO 3D. Garmin Pilot will still be my go-to app for actual planning, but this is great for more detailed weather.

Very difficult to use. I tried for two hours and was unable to get a single weather briefing, or set up a single pilot/aircraft profile.

Won't open... just crashes... don't see anyone else having this issue. I sent my crash logs...

Thank you for fixing the startup problem. App works great, and I'll now use it daily.

I didn't expect a first version app to provide so much capability for preflight planning! Keep it up!

Graphics won't load.

I installed this app twice on my Galaxy SIII and it wouldn't launch.

Doesn't launch on S3

Cant enter any info, doesn't recognize aircraft type, etc. Just crap. Glad I kept my iPad and I have it through the apple store.

Works flawlessly on DroidX. I like that the IAP charts you view within the app are viewable offline. I haven't fully tested it but it appears to give me full access to my existing DTC DUAT profile (including my stored requests).

I'm sure this would be a fantastic app and be exactly what I need before going out on a flight, except that I'm having serious issues entering the departure and destination airport identifiers on my Galaxy S3 - as a result I'm going to have to get my weather briefings the "old fashioned" way.
