Delhi Technological University ( Formerly Delhi College of Engineering ) , one of the premier institutions of India , takes pride not only in imparting technical education but in developing and nurturing talents of its students . CSI - Computer Society of India is one of the leading technical societies in India that aims at spreacing the awareness and knowledge about computing , through various channels like seminars , workshops , research and development It has more than 30,000 participants in 65 chapters and 183 student branches spread over different colleges and institutes in country

In order to portray tremendous potential of students , CSI-DTU student branch organises COGENESIS , three day long technical fest comprising of multitude of events that covers the diverse aspects of computer and information technology having a participation of thousands of students from various colleges .

The name " COGENESIS " is symbolic of the origin, start, or point at which something comes into being. Cogenesis symbolizes the coming together of CSI-DTU,SITE-DTU and SSE-DTU to celebrate the various advancements in technology and innovation and taking the first flight towarcs the zenith of success !
