Manage and coach your team(s) with ease and simplify team emails and texts (SMS) with Sports Team Manager.
The Sports Team Manager app frees you up from the administrative side of coaching so you can spend more time focusing on doing what you do best...coaching your sports team! This handy tool stores and keeps track of individual player information and facilitates communication of all the logistical details your players (and their parents) also look to you for throughout the season. Sports Team Manager supports any team sport like badminton, baseball, basketball, bowling, football, golf, hockey, soccer, tennis and volleyball.
- Input your team's name, select the icon that corresponds to your team's sport and choose the color for the global calendar.
- Add as many teams as you like.
- Manage players contact information, including email(s), phone(s), address(es), notes, etc.
- Import contacts from the Address Book as players. Future changes to the email(s), phone numbers and addresses can be synchronized to the app.
- Manage team calendar. Add games, practices, exhibition games, tournaments and other team events. Note the name of the opposing team, location, uniform, member presence, result, etc.
- View team events in a calendar view or in a list.
- Color coded icons let you highlight which color uniform to wear and when
- Links to Google Maps to provide directions to game locations.
The following advanced features are open only to full version users:
- Send customized emails at anytime, from anywhere, to individual players, parents or entire group.
- Text models with variables allow you to automatically generate texts for email and/or SMS.

Everything about this app was great except not being able to repeat events such as practice. Was VERY disappointed that I couldn't send an e-mail from the Lite Version I'm using. It has message models but no option to send an e-mail

This app only allows scheduling for the team. I would love to be able to use one app for everything. I am currently using two apps. This one for scheduling and contacts. I use another one for batting order and positions. I am sure there are other coaches who would love to have a one-stop-shop app that will allow them to do it all in one place.

You already have the tournament option. You should be able to put in your bracket for your tournament. Until then, 4 star app.

Just what I was looking for. I would give it a 5 if it had a few new features. #1 - The ability to create recurring events..I'm thinking practices. #2 - I'd like a soccer field view that allowed me to select a formation and assign players to each position. #3 - A "Position" field when adding a player. #4 - A game timer. Thanks developer!

Roster management and scheduling features. Also like the "present" check list. Haven't tried the messaging feature yet, but it looks promising. a) A few suggestions. Once an event is created, a read only view would be nice that shows only the populated data for review. From that screen I could then open the event for editing. b) recurring events, like practices.

great app, but for some reason when i go to the edit presence at events it just shows loading players and never loads! I'm not sure if it's because i have the lite version or what....other then that i love it.

I would definitely add a "recurring event" option for practices.....weekly or maybe choice of days of the week.....and a start and end date. Besides that, great idea!
