The Sports Team Manager app frees you up from the administrative side of coaching so you can spend more time focusing on doing what you do best...coaching your sports team! This handy tool stores and keeps track of individual player information and facilitates communication of all the logistical details your players (and their parents) also look to you for throughout the season. Sports Team Manager supports any team sport like badminton, baseball, basketball, bowling, football, golf, hockey, soccer, tennis and volleyball.
- Input your team's name, select the icon that corresponds to your team's sport and choose the color for the global calendar.
- Add as many teams as you like.
- Manage players contact information, including email(s), phone(s), address(es), notes, etc.
- Import contacts from the Address Book as players. Future changes to the email(s), phone numbers and addresses can be synchronized to the app.
- Manage team calendar. Add games, practices, exhibition games, tournaments and other team events. Note the name of the opposing team, location, uniform, member presence, result, etc.
- View team events in a calendar view or in a list.
- Color coded icons let you highlight which color uniform to wear and when
- Links to Google Maps to provide directions to game locations.
The following advanced features are open only to full version users:
- Send customized emails at anytime, from anywhere, to individual players, parents or entire group.
- Text models with variables allow you to automatically generate texts for email and/or SMS.

Very pleased with the well-thought out structure of the app, except for the creating of events. Events have to be duplicated manually and that is a pain. If you have 4 practices a week for 12 weeks, there needs to be a way to repeat the events.

Great app. I use it for my volleyball teams and works great. Changes I would like would be making custom fields and prompts when not given enough info to complete a task instead of deleting entry.

Bought the full version, but am not able to send texts. The help button does not work. Doesn't do anything for me without group texting.

Great application. However needs the following functionality urgently. 1. Attendance register for any event type 2. Export into excel must have all links between players, parents, other and events tabled in the exported file 3. Duplicate events 4. Events have option to be reoccuring 5. Locations import into email, sms, whatsapp etc.

Tried lite version, liked it so paid for full version. Problem on galaxy S2 sending multi texts. Contacted developer who was brilliant & produced upgrade to solve. App is excellent tool to help run my team. I've loaded a few of my club's teams to keep track and compare games. Text facility with templates good. Some improvements to make it even better... mark players as contacted but not responded, result recording improvements, scorer recording, player sorting view. But RECOMMENDED

Excellent app but needs a multiple event option for games each Sat or practice every Tues and Thurs so you don't have to retype everything! :-/ Maybe you could even add in a tactics/formation board and a match rating system for tracking players progress! Oh and instead of the simple win/loss you could replace it with a scorecard and select scorers too! ;-)
