ANT Radio Service

The development of a low power wireless system might be a good idea, but almost all the devices it supports also use Bluetooth as a connection system as well. For that reason, the ANT app is actually obsolete before it was even created. As for 'future uses', even Samsung 's own connected devices support Bluetooth as well as ANT. As Bluetooth is a worldwide standard is it not time to drop ANT?.

Why is it called a radio service when it's not a radio service at all? It's for fitness and heart monitoring devices to link up with your phone. And from what I see from the reviews nobody really likes this in this is the people this trying to sponsor this. If you are a sponsor of this thing or app you should not be able to write any any any any any any any any any comets these are for the people the real people not the business or sponsors!!!!

This must have been forced on with sneaky update because when I got my Note 4 2 plus years ago I disabled both parts of it! Now here it is again and I can't do anything to change it damn! Another ratty discovery this app is no longer accessible in settings under app manager which is where I first disabled it when I first got my phone. Now I can't even restrict background data, really sneaky!

Stop forcing worthless apps onto people's phones without giving them a choice to remove them. Can't even spend $900.00 of your own back-breaking, borderline slaved labored cash without having the manufacturers, partners and associates spying and GPS tracking your every move. How enjoyable.

this app is useless. it allows people the ability to rob your person info. this app serves no purpose for the average updated human living in 2017!!! take this mess away from my FULLY PAID FOR PHONE! Samsung is going down the drain... my next phone will be a iphone!

This was the last drop in the full glass! I USED to like my Samsung. And now I am sorry I can't give a -☆ rate, because you deserve it. A normal company would never do this to the customers! And, if even, would give us an uninstall button!! I thought, Samsung is a South, not North Korea 's company! Such methods are used just in countries under terrors! Shame on you.

Please delete this crap from the phone that i paid full price for. Isn't my money enough. Instead you insists on adding these unwanted apps on ppls phones for a profit instead of keeping your customers happy. And not even letting the owners of the phone to delete them. Last Samsung i buy!

Why can't I uninstall this app? So annoying, I'm sick of apps like this on my phone. Paying customers should have a choice on installed apps. Not just forcing stuff onto people and calling it a success in the board room.

This app is the reason people get robbed, it shares you r phone ID and personal information allowing hackers to get your phone IP and other personal information through back door apps and the dark internet. Get the app off of your phone or people will be able to get your messages, credit card info, clone your phone and it signal by rewriting code.

This is BS!!!! another service I use to Uninstal is now automatically on my device... if the only way of getting this waste of space on my phone is giving me no choice....well thanks alot..... Why do you force this junk on paying customers????

ANT service is used for health monitors, such as heart beats. Unused it is a battery hog. Use "BK Package Disabler PRO" to turn useless services off. NO root needed.

It came already installed on my cell phone and it just takes up space because it is useless. I want it off my phone so I can use the space for more scull stuff. I already have the ability to connect to different devices. If it doesn't use the stuff already going around then it just takes up.space for nothing bad idea. Wish I could remove it from my phone.

Did not ask for this app why was it downloaded. I think it is messing up my phone. Can't download any thing now. Thank you very much! I will do the same for you when I learn how to hack

Gee wiz! This app so very NOT useful. I don't care how little space it claims to take. I don't want it. I don't care how many other people like it or use it. If I wanted it or needed it then I would have voluntarily downloaded it. ANT+ and all of it's developers and investors need to pedal their garbage software somewhere else. Samsung as a willing partner to this is just as bad. You know what I like to do to ants? Stomp on them! The same goes for ANT+

Automatically was installed with system update. Can't uninstall or disable, my device and forcing apps on should be illegal and blocked by Google. I had a tab2, tab3, tab pro and now tab e. Last Samsung device I buy.

Bloatware should be subject to deletion. "If you don't use it, it will remain inactive"... Why not, "If you don't use it, then you can remove it from your property in this easy way."?

Changed my life forever! I can now call anyone without typing the numbers, go anywhere without driving, talked to anyone using my mind and I can now talk to animals and all alien species! Works great! Thanks to this app!

This app is totally useless to me and I just want it off my Samsung s7. I've always loved Samsung but forcing useless apps like this makes me hate it. When my phone is paid off, I'll be looking at getting a new phone that only has the apps on it needed to function properly and I, the customer, can choose what apps I want on my phone. Obviously, many companies have forgotten that in order to have repeat business, you have to have happy customers, it doesn't make you that much different from United Airlines.

Spyware. Just as soon as I root my tablet it will be gone. Meanwhile I am blocking it with my firewall. Will be looking into Apple products from now on. Good job turning away customers Samsung. Mission accomplished!

Paying customers do not want apps forced upon them. Sure a service can come pre-installed but if the OS isn't dependant on it the user should be able to remove it.

You have no idea how this application can be a life changer for you. This little Ant used to not only provide me with a great Chauffeur service but now even cooks me food and earns me money for the lifestyle I have. Its like a dream come true! And since the update came out, I just got my self a nice red Ferrari California! ???? Thanks little Ant. I tried do uninstall it, you know what happened??? My phone broke! Luckally my child had an old one of hers.

This is a useless system app that only takes up space. Please remove with your next system update or at least give me a way to remove it myself.

This app has nothing to with what it's advertised to do and not only that I cannot get it off my phone thanks Samsung. This app allows hackers to do as they please and no one cares enough to put a stop to the nonsense.

Just purchased a Note 8 and this (useless to me) app came already installed! Will never ever use it, so tried to uninstall it..... guess what? YOU CANT! So to thank you for putting this waste of space app on my super expensive phone that I purchased with my hard earned cash. I shall give you a 1⭐ review. You should always give the option to uninstall an app, now your app rating is going to drop through the floor because you dont allow people to control their personal property.

Guys, why all the hate comments? This app literally only takes up 52 KB. Its not even an issue. Who cares if its obsolete and useless most of the time. Its there because people do use it when running certain apps. Why does it matter if you cant delete it either? Again its 52 KB and I doubt they are increasing phone prices for this little app. One guy said "Last samsung I buy!"....How pathetic. Such an idiotic reason.

The hyper paranoia and ridiculous negative commentary in these reviews is mainly linked to ignorance. This app uses a relatively small footprint and does not divulge information to hackers. Most of what is pre-installed in phones today sits in waiting for the customer to grow in his understanding of his phone's capabilities. When he is ready to use a new feature, the app is there waiting for him. The truth is that you don't know what you need when you first buy a phone. Usually customers grow into realizing what they would like. Pre-installed apps accommodate this reality. Stop complaining! You know not what you speak.

I honestly don't know what all the bitching is about! If people buy a bleeding edge Samsung device, you know that it will have future proof technology built in! Ant+ is used to control lighting, your fridge and all sorts of things to come in the future. For goodness sake, stop complaining! Some people don't have fresh water to drink and you lot are bitching about a little bit of tech in your device! Take a good look in the mirror and thank your lucky stars that by sheer accident of birth you have clean water to drink, food to eat and roofs over your heads....oh, and very smart devices!

I want to disable this app and remove it. There was a time when you owned things you paid a lot of money for!! Don't accept Corporatism, fight the power!!

All the 5 star reviews are fake or accidental. Does an app like this REALLY need to come preinstalled? Senseless bloatware. At least I can disable it.
