RxTrak's Medical Event Tracker

RxTrak's Medical-Health Event Tracker provides a simple way to log and track notable medical events in your life...in real-time, and while on the go. Yes, you can monitor over time the actual state of your health by recording all those transitory, often chronic, incidents that are usually so fleeting that it's impossible later to recall their "whens and frequencies".

This handy tool is not just for the obsessive-compulsive crowd! It's mandatory for those craving surveillance of their own medical/health issues (or those of their loved ones).

App setup is easy. Simply create a "tracker" for each of those medical problems you wish to audit. Then, when the moment is relevant, simply tap the screen to register a new occurrence of that tracked item. It's truly that painless.

Each of the generated event records contains both an unalterable transaction time-stamp, and a free-text area for input of optional comments like symptoms, severity, location, etc., etc.

Accumulated results can be sorted and viewed on the screen at any time, or pasted as a report to the device's Clipboard where the data can then be picked up by another app, like e-mail, for further distribution and processing. For your possible convenience, one of the report's formats is Comma-Separated-Values (CSV).

Note: One of your event reports could contain, for example, results of a tracker that had been e-mailed to your desktop PC and printed out so that it has become handy reference material in the doctor's office.

This app runs in both portrait and landscape mode. And there are no app-defined restrictions to either the number of trackers or the number of events stored in the database. These records will remain in the system until you delete them. (Several functions are provided to facilitate database housecleaning, if or when that becomes necessary.)

The app has been (initially) designed for Android smartphones. But it will run equally well on Android tablets, though fail to exploit later improvements in your User Interface experience.

NOTE: This app uses the "menu" button...which is likely missing on the newer models of tablets and smartphones! Check which your device's manufacturer (via a Google search) to find out how this button is now simulated.
