DnD Buddy

Great App, Good overview on your character, which some of the other apps are lacking. There is one thing that's either, way too well hidden or missing in the app, and that's not being able to edit what skills are your class skills if you use a custom class. This feels like it should be an easy fix. Using the app on a tablet.

About the only feature that works well enough is import character and that still has missing details. Doesn't import saving throw modifiers, some equipment (Pileus Helm), monsters are missing, all currency gets added to "other" category, buttons are extremely hard to select if you have fingers larger than a 3-year old, the list goes on! I do agree the App has a lot of potential but this App, at its current stage of development, should NOT be downloaded unless it's free! Or, if you have money to burn! IMHO....

Very interesting app! Will come in handy with building my next campaign. One request if its possible, could you search for monsters via type and CR than name? Then I could replace one of my bookmark.

I bought in to this ages ago, and even exchanged email with the dev who said that this would be finished up (as parts do not work). The concept is sound, it looks nice, but over priced for something that became a forgotten project. Don't waste your money.

Did a fantastic job, happy to spend the 5 bucks for this. I am hoping you add an option sometime in the future for classes to automatically add/subtract the correct skills for 3.5. This would be a nice feature. Thanks again!!!

As it stands it has potential BUT not usable. It is no longer being actively developed. Last update was from December 2013!

It has awesome potential and will become better but Menus are a pain to navigate trying to make a new character and it would be nice if the base saves and attack bonus were put in instead of typing it all in.

But so far just very good. Keep the updates coming! Best d&d app I have found so far. Also, would love to see a way to export/print the sheet.

Reading the comments I had high hopes for this app but I want to warn any potential buyers. Many functions advertised don't work at all, the encounter tracker is just bugged to the point of not working, and every time I attempt to work on my characters it crashes. The guy seems very hardworking at updating this but until I find it working to a decent standard I can't justify telling others to buy it although I do think it is worth investing your money in so that he can have more funds to use towards developing. i would love to help out in any way i could but for now i just can't call it a justified purchase

Importing of 4e char was easy. Did not grab all the info that the char generator provided. Spells, feasts etc should be completely separate from pathfinder.

I find it awkward to use with my Samsung Galaxy S4.

Wheres the assasin class for 3.5 edition? Noticed that you miss some of the most basic prestige classes. Now I invested money and this app and I would like for you to fix this simple mistake. Im not worried however, as you seem to have a good track record of fixing this kind of stuff. Plz and thx.

One thing I would love to see are fully filled out character ability cards. Overall, I think it has a lot of potential, and it costs less then a cheap meal.

Kept crashing at the beginning, and was very frustrated. Then finally it worked, and it's actually pretty sick.

Knowledge local missing, Use magical device not recognized as rogue class skill. Still, pretty good app

Needs work, missing a bunch of features. For what I paid I think it needs more work.

I have a hcg and my phone only loads 156 monsters I'm stuck in the middle of the a section fix or tell me how and I'll give 5 stars i play 3.5

I've only just started browsing through the functionality, but noticed that DR for electrical and sonic damage are missing on the Pathfinder characters.

The app is excellent! Imported my character from dnd insider easy enough and pulled up with no issues. My only complaint, so far, is that if I open a power that has more content that the pop-up window can hold, there's no scroll available. Example: I pull up the detail for "Helm of Seven Deaths" and I can't see anything below the At-Will power. I know there's an encounter AND a daily ability but I can't scroll to see the others. Once that gets fixed, I'd gladly up it to 5 stars

A good app if you are playing d&d3, 3.5, or pathfinders, but I couldn't use anything from 4e. It would be better if it could access 4e.

, though still in need of optimization. Has a lot of features, though some lists load slowly and other features are still unavailable.

But how do you add 4e monsters into an encounter or powers to a character? Whenever I hit select, at will, it just says no data.

Why isnt compact mode working? I have a galaxy s3. Everytime i click any other sizes it just stays as medium. Help? Also i had a crash upon opening the first time.

This app is on its way to becoming something amazing, it just needs some fixes and some stuff added. It also doesn't fit well on my HTC 1 I would like to email you and maybe go through some ideas. Awesome app. :)

I haven't gotten a great deal of time to play around with this app but I can already tell that the features it boasts will be extremely handy in my future sessions. As a DM, the monster library and combat tracker are incredibly useful and should allow me to expedite the sometimes tedious combat that DnD is known to have these days. The developer is still working and adding to the app and is incredibly responsive to inquiries. I highly recommending giving this app a shot!
