D7 Reader (RSS | News) for Android
I've been using this and the Pro version for several years, and have been very happy with it. But I just upgraded my phone to the Samsung Galaxy S7, and the Pro version doesn't show up in the Play Store for this device. I'm surprised that there's any restriction, but please enable it! The ads are driving me nuts after just one day!
Been getting a 403 error connecting to InoReader for some weeks now.
sometimes i can not see google mobilizer option in article's contex menu. kindly please improv it.
I can't view my Old Reader starred articles, or the recommended ones. I'm on Gingerbread by the way.
Needs option to not automatically mark as read. Needs g+1 button.
I was enjoying using the Pro version of this, but now I have moved to another device I can no longer download the Pro update I paid for.
Sync with Feedly worked, but couldn't load any articles!
Clunky on a tablet.
old fashioned design
Drains battery Sharing only through a limited set of services.
This is the perfect reader. Just what I was looking for
Great reader/podcast app but it has been showing signs of a glitch. It seems like it is running twice when its open. When I close it or a podcast or anything... I have to back out twice. Anybody else experiencing this?
Using it as a Google Listen replacement, it works fantasticly. My only request is to have Listen Subscriptions show in their own feed sub folders, not in a giant list all together. Due to this using JustReader instead.
Missing one main feature
Only issue is it force closes every time i try to save an item or download a podcast.
Poor user experience. I paid for this app and yet it keeps displaying adds. Will avoid it in the future.
ads/top/bottom banners use 50% screen space. using easyrss
Needs playlist for streaming and downloads. Everything else perfect. Good job.
But no Widget
Missing the 'move to SD card' option Limited configuration settings when compared to other readers
awful banner cannot be removed. Uninstalled...
I love the app but it occasionally force closes and the podcast player often stops during longer shows.
very fast. and sleek
I have tried all newsreader apps and this is the only one that stays on my phone. I like images with my news and this one seems to have that more often than the others. Bottomline is I use it every single day and like it more now than I ever did. Great app and as a side note never had a fc or any other issue EVER.
Coming from an iPad( yes the dark days) one of the best approach experiences I've had was Reeder rss app. The interface was so nice and polished. Now I'm not expecting that level of UI greatness for free. But one "must" for me is swiping to mark read and star. This app does support that, however, like most apps that try to give that functionality this one also fails. Most of the time my swipes aren't recognized and the few times they are there is a big delay before it actually does the swipe activity.
Updated this review. D7 is so great that i can no longer justify not buying it. So i leave a five star review and uninstalls
Have tried all reader apps in the market and this is the best.
One of the best no nonsense reader
Worth trying before getting the paid version. I like how you can hit one button and usually get the whole article. I am seriously considering getting the paid version (I don't keep ad versions). I just have a lot of news/RSS apps already. For under $2 I would say its not a bad choice. Galaxy Nexus
switched to d7 after greader messed up the swishing thingie. Still getting used to it and the mobilizers look a bit strange but it's very nice
Hangs ok n first sign in screen. Sammy S2 stock 3.2
but wont let me view the web version so I can comment on articles.
Best Google Reader app!
So far works.great
it says that Google username/password is NOT required, but that's false. You cannot open the app without providing permissions.
Became more buggy then it was before... Videos do not work.HTC Evo.
Simply the best Google reader out there. Opening videos in youtube app is another nice stuff.
I've used the majority of RSS apps on the Market. This is by far the best
