Highly capable and responsive, this Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) reduces cockpit workload and provides relevant information when you need it. DroidEFB™ matches many features found in the ForeFlight® app, which only runs on Apple’s more expensive mobile devices.

DroidEFB overlays current position and flight plan onto an FAA Sectional, TAC, Low Altitude or High Altitude chart. On the ground, current weather is displayed for long range planning; helping pilots visualize the impact current conditions will have on their flight.

Input and easily amend airports, waypoints, victor/jet airways, GPS coordinates and DME. Advanced navigation log with time/distance/bearing info takes into account current winds aloft using proprietary algorithms.

Once airborne, routes flown can be stored as GPS breadcrumbs, uploaded and viewed in Google Earth. https://droidefb.com/tutorials/

All charts and plates are viewable via our servers with an Internet connection and are downloadable for offline use. RouteMinder™ automatically checks the planned route for Charts needing downloaded.

DroidEFB can be used to receive and file official briefings through Lockheed Martin Flight Services AFSS! Register at www.1800wxbrief.com/Website/ and enable Avilution/DroidEFB in the list of service providers (Flight Planning & Briefing > Service Provider) to receive notifications.

It was not working for me on the LG G Pad I found it too unreliable to use it would freeze and I could not plan a flight properly

D70%
by D####:

I used it for Aerial survey. Great assistance with situational awareness, preflight, weather, planning, loaded with tons of airport information

F70%
by F####:

Droid EFB is the best Android EFB, period - I've tried several. It's reliable and fast. Light on RAM and CPU, so it's quick & responsive to use and battery lasts longer in-flight than any other app. It has complete weather info including winds & PIREPs. It seamlessly supports external GPS and ADS-B (like Stratux) on GDL-90 or Bluetooth, show ADS-B traffic and weather. It has complete airport info including the full AFD. The UI is well designed, routing and other features are intuitive and quick to use. The only drawback to this app is lack of WAC and Canadian charts.

D70%
by D####:

Didn't get the free trial period. It wouldn't allow me to access anything without paying. Decided to pay for it anyway and haven't regretted it. Only android app truly competitive with foreflight. By far the best Android EFB.

D70%
by D####:

Not many people talk about or have heard of this app but it's definitely my favorite. I've tried others and I keep defaulting to this one. The learning curve is not steep and is very user friendly. Try it, you'll like it.

After trying all of the Android solutions, this is hands-down, THE best app there is for our platform. The GUI is intuitive and easy to use. Many options to choose from and the extras are brilliant. Customizable W&B loadout, integrated E6B (no more wizz-wheel, just type in the info and out pops the numbers!). I will be a long-time customer.

Can use it on my check dive, would be nice to have helicopter balancing as well as plane as I'm lazy.

I'm using this app on every flight for about 2 years, running it on my phone and tablet for backup. Receiving wx and traffic from dual xgps170. When i stopped receiving ads-b wx a few weeks ago, Paul and Jacek helped me troubleshoot the problem, proving it was the problem with the Dual box. Once Dual fixed their unit, i got wx and traffic displayed again.

It's missing a few features I'd really like to have, but if they can lock a few things in, this could become my go to EFB.

there is a major issue with trying to enter Flight Plan information, specifically AirSpeed and altitude. You have to delete a waypoint, or add a new one. it will highlight your AirSpeed but will not bring up a keyboard so that you can enter the data. I have tried the HTC, the SwiftKey keyboard as well as another, and it accesses none of the above. This is a major flaw that needs to be corrected. It does okay position track ing

This is my favorite EFB app for android. It has Stratux support, but there needs to be better ADS-B In information. The W&B is a huge plus, as well as the ability to use as a scratch pad. ***UPDATE*** The new 2.1.2 has better ADS-B track info, and works marvously with my Stratux. Keep up the good work, fellas!

I've been using this EFB for several years now, it it just keeps getting better! You guys have come a long way!

E70%
by E####:

By far the best EFB available for Android. All the standard (and FAA required) EFB functionality is there, but the design is so well thought out and the UI is so smooth that it puts this EFB above the rest. There are some killer features in here that even Foreflight doesn't have. Two things it needs that will put the nails in the coffins of the other EFBs: 1. Ability to import KML or other shape files (this would make it the killer military EFB) 2. Synthetic vision

Just installed DroidEFB to try out. I've tried Garmin Pilot, Avare and Naviator and am not overly impressed with them. DroidEFB UI looks much more modern. I met with Jacek, the head developer at Sun 'n Fun and expect to see great support from this developer. Looking forward to try on my next flight!

Haven't tried it in flight yet but from what I've seen so far it looks amazing. Can't wait to use it more. Also, talked to some of the guys working with the developers and it sounds like an all-around great ap.

I've used ForeFlight and iPad for years but have always had an affinity for Samsung. DroidEFB gives me the EFB functionality I need on an Android device. Thanks to the developers of this awesome, continuously improving, Android app!
