Tips & Places

"Tips & Places" is a tip calculator whose design draws inspiration from the high-end electronics of the 1980s. Type your bill and see the result - no need to select the input field, deal with the software keyboard or navigate through menus.

Ease of use does not inhibit "Tips & Places"'s abilities, however; it is able to divide the bill between up to eight people, or round down the total / tip amount to the nearest dollar. In addition, it can store selected information about the transaction, together with the location, into the embedded database. This information can be subsequently searched and shared via email.

The network and SD card storage permissions are used by the Google Maps SDK to retrieve and cache location info. "Tips & Places" uses Location Services only in compliance with device settings - i.e, if Location is disabled on the device, no such info will be collected by the program. Information stored in the database is not used or shared in any way unless the user explicitly decides to share it.
