Drivea - Driving Assistant App for Android
These people are doing amazing work,Lets hype up the app it has millions of potential
Its ok but on my Galaxt S4 the lines and colors arnt good. The lines are too thin and it needs a lot more color. Give it more color and thickness and I give it more stars.
Great app, hope it can include black box recording function soon
i like it more than ionroad but need more development
Too many "out of road" alarms. It distracts me.
Treat this app as entertainment, Don't risk your life - too eratic. Try mobileye (on web) if you're really serious about safety.
Camera don't work on samsung galaxy s2 plus. Can you help me ???
This app has much room for improvement, but doesn't overheat the battery like ionroad does.
מזהה רכבים יפה, אבל מתריעה יותר מידי פעמים,מנדנדת.
Does what it says. A few more options would b nice. Follow directions and it works.
Works like a charm in the day. Night driving is risky.
Does not recognize a thing even at day.
Great
it doesn't work well at night, which is when it would come in most handy. Still, great concept and it certainly shows potential.
Has features that would otherwise require a $600 piece of dedicated equipment. Bravo!
Won't focus
Works great!
Great idea: an app that warns you if you when you stray out of your lane or if you get too close or if you are speeding. Drivea had a hard time finding the horizon, then it couldn’t find my driving lane (Tree-lined street, no center line). The proximity detection got fooled by reflections on the hood (aim higher). Later, the alarm sounded and a icon started flashing white. It was either an out-of-lane warning or a too-close warning. (We were not speeding). Still later, a red icon started flashing. These warnings needed an alert followed by a spoken message and words on the screen, not just colors. The warnings kept sounding, so I tapped the mute icon. The muted icon appeared, but the alarm would not stop until I muted the entire device. Sometimes when returning to Drivea from a different app the camera did not come back on until going to the app a third time. Drivea acts like it does not want to turn off. Select Exit from the menu and it says Drivea stopped, but it is still in the list of running programs. Bottom line, Drivea seeks to fill an important need, but it needs more work. It is best suited for the wide open road, and interstates.
Doesn't focus camera on my Xperia S, hence not working at all
I'd really like to use this as a dashcam too. Also, there are only a few options for speed limits which means I cannot set Irish speed limits.
But GUI is not good and bit laggy, also missing point 2 in first boot "rules" pop up
When i start the app camera doesnt show on the buttons please fix
No updates for a long time ?
No portrait support
Great app, hope it can include black box recording function soon
Works well on my Galaxy Note! Has a long way to go but extremely promising. Good to see an app using the power of modern phones. Please add more features. Showing the distance to the car in front would be more useful than the elevation :)
Camera will not start with this app. No updates. have the developers given up on this ???
App was great but latest version stopped working at all. Where can I get the older version?
En un HTC Wildfire A333 con Android 2.2.1 al abrir da un error y se cierra
I Would love to try this app, but it keeps force closing on my original Droid
[Thank you for fixing this! Really looking forward to testing this out soon!] Looks like a really useful app, BUT, the camera is inverted. As in when landscape, it displays it rotated by 90 degrees. The X and Y axis are also inverted :P there don't seem to be any settings to change this or the orientation. Cant even use the app because of this. Would love to use it once this issue is fixed :)
Its ok but on my Galaxt S4 the lines and colors arnt good. The lines are too thin and it needs a lot more color. Give it more color and thickness and I give it more stars.
Excellent. But it's' restart camera when take a curve.
Very good work . But it is not very beutiful screen
i like it more than ionroad but need more development
Needs ability to read road signs and warn of pedestrians and perhaps a faster response (although that may be hardware related) then it would be perfect..... Overall a great tool giving us a sneak peak of what an android phone is capable of.. Keep the updates coming.
Does not rotate to portrait mode. No setting found to do it manually. My windshield mount drops phone if phone is landscape. If app updates to include this setting option I will try it then. For now I am uninstalling it.
Better than ion the road.
looks like it has all the features im looking for but camera just shows black. on gtab 7.7 with pacman rom.

This app is working really well, sometimes there is false alarm but it only happens less. I like this app !
