About Lock Screen Mute
Lock Screen Mute enables you to switch between volume settings (Normal / Vibrate / Mute - Priority) even when the phone is in lock screen.
New feature: Ability to select bright color icons, added for the cases where Android makes dark-colored button in the notification area. A dedicated check-box for enabling this is available in the application main view.
To enable Lock Screen Mute to show it's buttons while the screen is locked, please remember to turn on notifications, but even if you do not enable lock notifications, you will still be able to use the notification buttons when the phone is unlocked.
For example (Depending on the flavor of the OS, yous phone might present a the menus differently):
1. Go to system settings.
2. Select the MY DEVICE tab.
3. Open the Sounds and notifications options.
4. Scroll down to "While Locked"
5. Enable lock notifications according to your preferences.
The "run as Startup" permissions is used to enable the application to automatically start after a phone reboot.
Please note that full mute actually turn on the new Lollipop Priority mode.

Finally an app that enables me to mute the phone from my locked screen and also to un-mute it comfortably

I'm super annoyed that Google removed the ability to mute with the power button. This app makes it much easier to toggle the ringer on and off as I go in and out of meetings. Too bad it's kind of ugly, and having to have that blue hash mark in my top tray all the time isn't ideal.
