Mindly (mind mapping)

Wonderful layout! Everything flows together really well. Also a perfect way to keep track of everything! Extremely helpful for me ESPECIALLY since I can share the mind maps! What I think would make it better it to be able to make live changes between shares (for people who have the app already). If I edit the mind map then all the other shared copies also change. I use it to keep track of my non-profit and to keep my team up to date on everything that has been done and still needs to be done. Maybe also make the ability to have group discussions and make notes on the mind map.

Basically this app could be incredible. It could rival apps like trello for small things. For example if you were doing a small creative project it would be perfect. Everyone could add all their ideas etc but the text is pretty average. I think the app has serious potential and I would happily pay $20 for it if it included more features. Perhaps a subscription of $5 a month per user or something would make it more worth it for the devs. You guys could dominate the creative projects market with this interface.

Simple and flexible with its smooth interface. I was able to use it right away. Few thing I'd wish to have with this app: 1. I can copy or transfer ( as separate option ) sub topic with its elements into a new Topic 2. Put text / title with image ( as background ) 3. More color / connector options 4. More map templates ( not just astronomical layout, options like bubbles, shapes, etc... ) 5. Real time syncing for group discussion ( like Google slides )

It's a great app, but I wish I could use it at work - which is when it would be most useful (i.e. for interactive brainstorming sessions, etc). I.e. I am unable to display it on a screen/projector from my phone at work (due to IT restrictions, no chromecast capability, etc). It would be amazing if there was a web based version that you could easily access on any work PC - that way it would be a genuinely great tool for work. And then I'd most definitely buy the full version. (the pdf export is not suitable for these types of sessions)

if you have ADHD, this is the app for you to keep track of stuff. Because you will probably not remember what youre supposed to be doing. And that is not so bad. You can go deep into ideas and stuff. It looks really cool in a mind map, and you get to see how far you have gone into something. You can leave any topic any time and pick up right where you left off. If you color code things, it can help direct your attention ti where it should go based on your current predicament.

Hi. I rarely make a suggestions, but I see your app as very useful tool for project management and just couldn't stand aside). I'd like to suggest adding possibility to change status of element. When you finish your task, would be great to be able to mark it as "done". Right now I can do it by changing a color, but I have to go settings of the element and make few extra steps. Would be great if I could change the color of element right on the map screen, not only in settings. Any other ideas​ on how to visually differentiate finished elements from unfinished are welcomed as well. Thank you

Best app for mapping ideas I have ever had the pleasure of using. Free level of the app has more than enough for it to be useful. Even now, as I buy it, I don't need the added features for what I am using it for. But once I saw their website and the quality of the paid sharing features (html outline, xml) I knew this was the mind mapping app I have looked for. Has all the features I can think of wanting, except for flow charts. No idea how they'd do that, but it doesn't make the application any less useful.

I really love this app, it's very helpful when writing to get all my thoughts in order. It really helps break topics down into their simplest elements. The only issue I have is that there is no PC support. I hope that is coming in the future, and when it does, I will give this app 5 stars in a heartbeat!

This is a really cool app that helps me effectively develop my ideas. It's so nice that i wanted to upgrade but when i got the purchase button nothing happens. I will give five stars once I'm able to upgrade. Can you help me? :) Edit: after trying several times it finally worked. Five stars!

So far, I would say that this is my favorite mind mapping app out of dozens I have tried, but not without its shortfalls. Pro: App is easy to use It is beautiful to navigation The organization is simple and useful Con: Exporting as a picture can be underwhelming, due to low resolution The app is pricey (but worth it!) If you like the free version, get the pro.

Close to buying full version. Maybe I haven't worked it out, but would love to be able to share individual elements to Mindly users and to Gmail.. Also if I could share elements as a project that co-workers could collaborate on. Would love some feedback from developers on comments posted here, this stops me from purchasing also. Apart from that it's a lovely app, visually and for work flow.

This app is amazing for creating and organizing ideas. Reminds me of the spider web charts they used to have us right out in English to flush out our story ideas. Great idea for an app simple yet powerful for organizing ideas once you get into more complex circle structures. The note feature for every circle you make is a nice feature giving added depth to each circle idea. If I could add something it would be adding the option to link one circle to another entirely different circle in another higher chain or lower chain so that you can link ideas even if their not in the same chain but still relevant to each other. You could have only certain circles chain and they could show up as a background chains separate from the whole structure but still apart of it in the background or have an option to show it when you're on one of the two or more connected circles.

This is an amazing little big app! So much better than I expected! So many applications! Goal setting, writing, business planning, anything your imagination can think of. Do yourself a favor and give this a try if you are needing help getting things done.

Love the app, it's very easy to use. I really want a windows platform, this would make life as a student incredibly easier. This is amazing for essays, lab reports, general note collating and a number of other functions. It's just a pain to not be able to use my desktop or laptop for this app. Adding pictures would make difficult concepts easier too.

4.5. This app is amazing! It's such a great setup. It's handy, it gets everything out of my head and reduces stress. Plus, it is super cool that you can see the whole map and every bubble you create. BUT... I didn't realize until the day after I downloaded this app that you can only make 3 maps, and they include only 100 bubbles, so unless you upgrade to the full version, you have pretty big restrictions. The app also comes with a welcome map, so I'd recommend deleting that to save space for maps that you want to create. I don't want to pay money to upgrade so if you're like me you'll have to make due with only 3 maps.

Nice app, but it could do with an 'add sketch' function like you can add photos or images. It would drop you into a sketchpad which when complete could be dropped into your maps. It'd be very useful for engineering development. Even nicer if it was optimised for S pen devices.

Caution! Using up all my data syncing to Dropbox! Needs an option to only sync over wi-fi. Other than that fatal flaw... Brilliant, intuitive. This app replaces three other apps on my phone (to do list, Google Keep, and a few folders of Google Drive). If it could RECORD and organize audio (hint, hint!) the same way it organizes photographs, then I could also eliminate my songwriter's app! Edit: As Sergey V mentioned in another review, the ability to "mark as completed" would drive the value of this app even higher.

Wow! Finally, someone came up with something that works like my mind! Trust me, this is the first app that has made me say wow in a while. It fills the need to organize all my ideas in a visual, organized, resourceful way. And it is extremely user friendly and well thought out. Thank you for finally giving my mind an app.

This is officially my favorite app! I have always struggled to get things out of my head. I have tried mind mapping before but I found it too complicated and messy. This app is the opposite of complicated and messy. In fact, it's simplicity is what make its revolutionary! Within just a few days I have mind mapped such massive amounts from my head that I'm seeing patterns and revelations I couldn't possibly have imagined! It's been a life changing experience. I simply couldn't recommend this app more :)

Great for mental health! :D I have M.E, OCD and Bipolar, so brain fog and racing thoughts easily disrupt my day. This app saves me! I can keep record of creative ideas before they vanish, add a note before I forgot and organise it all so it flows beautifully! I am in love, you simply must give it a try! :D

Nice to get ideas down fast. Would like to add a parent to main element, taking its place as the main topic, for when I make a mistake or forget but have already made several child elements. Alternatively, I support what others have asked for, being able to copy children and sub children in a group.

I really love this app. I have more than 20 business and study tasks to do daily and they are all unrelated. So jotting down tasks and ideas in this app is a breeze and really keeps things visible and connected when you have a lot going on. I would highly recommend it to almost anyone

Wonderful design and fluid performance. For me personally this is the best a mind mapping tool around, as the display focuses on branchings. There could be minor improvements, but it's already extremely well designed as it is. The full experience upgrade might be on the expensive side for some, but the one-time purchase is well worth it if one uses Mindly daily

Thank you for making this! This introduced me to mind mapping. I feel free! It is so easy. It is exactly what I've always needed. The first thing I started using this for is planning my novel. Mind mapping literally could not be any more perfect for it. This app is great!

Not only is this app fun and seeing your map grow makes you add to it. More colors though, that would be awesome. Thats the only thing I have to complain about but, come on! Great way to keep all those thoughts organized and I read that it's also therapeutic.

The more you use it, the more things you find yourself utilizing it for. Budgeting your time, outlining your business plans, branching your life goals into small immediate steps. Give it a try, the worst thing you can do is use the circles as a fidget spinner.

I am so, so happy with this app. I never usually go back deliberately to find the review area of an app so I can leave max number of stars! Only thing I'd like more is if I able to convert the mindmap to a word .doc outline. And email it to myself with enable edit function. Again, this app is fantastic.

I love this concept. It is visually compelling and helps me make sense of the chaos in my brain. I would love this to be my go to organization app. However the one thing that would make this the best tool ever, is a way to set reminders, or alarms that correlate with the multitude of projects that we're working on. I'd definitly be willing to pay more for that feature.

What a great way to explore and organize one's thoughts! The two things I'd change is to have the font automatically resize to fit the circles and to keep a complete view of the whole diagram even when more circles are added. When the seventh circle is added, it makes it hard to keep track.

Desired improvements: more control on bubbles title display as long words show up on 2 lines and some words don't show up in long titles. *****Take it to the unique next level: add a third vertical axis allowing links between items in different sub-sections! Thanks again!

It's awesome. Following the nodes with touch makes for a much better interface than just dragging the screen around like in the average mind map. The only slight is that I wish nodes could have random colors as an option.

I really like the setup. It's easy to use and understand. Not to mention it's easy to keep clean. Sooooo... Are you guys going to make a desktop app (windows)? 5 stars if so!

A great and easy to use interface and it will help me alot in the future and I've bought the upgraded version to get everything I need. If I could make one suggestion it would be to have a sort of edit mode so that I can see my notes more clearly and not make changes by accident as this would be a huge plus. Thankyou dev

This mindmap is good for separating ideas and themes. Not so good for looking at the bigger picture in my opinion, but then again I've only been using it for about half an hour so that's what ive found so far.

I really liked using this, until they ran an update and it wiped the Mind Map I'd been working on for a year! Great, a mind map that wipes them out everytime it updates just what you don't need!

Garbage. Spent 3+ hours on a project. Hit the home button, and all my work is lost forever. Horrible interface, super limited, you can do everything this can do easier in a standard outline. Don't waste your time or device storage.

Sometimes I get lost in thought. But Mindly has helped me to become my own cognitive cartographer! Now I can create a treasure map of my suppressed memories!
