I have started the Starting Strength program and this is great for tracking progress without being too complicated. Calendar view to see how regular I'm going. Chart to see my lifting gains. No need to enter number of sets, reps, weight for each set, create workout plan etc like other apps. Just the weight you lifted on a particular day for each exercise that you did. Perfect! EDIT: Had to reset my phone and lost all previous data. Please add option to back up!!!

Really like this app. Its simple yet allows you to input any excercise you like and keeps a log of your workouts. Update your workouts as u do them and youve got an historical log to track ur progress and refer back to. The beauty is in its simplicity

Z70%
by Z####:

It'd be good if I could actually log a whole workout, instead of just what my 1rm is. Would be a great app if you only do single rep sets every day tho...

Q70%
by Q####:

Simple, charts text too small to read. Please make lift description free to add to and change, thanks for your work. Maybe ability to record video of a lift to record? If I change phones I lose my records?

R70%
by R####:

This is an excellent app, but I recently changed phones and lost all my progress charts. If the app could save my progress across devices, that would be a 5 star change!

Z70%
by Z####:

Works perfect for keeping track of progress and PR's. The only thing I dont like is that there hasn't been an update for a long time. All of the features, such as adding new exercises don't work for my new Samsung Galaxy S7. Worked amazingly on my Droid Turbo. Only downfall is that the app is not optimized for newer phones (2016). Otherwise it's still a great app.

B70%
by B####:

Does exactly what I need...except that we need an update to be able to access menus on newer phones that no longer have a menu button of their own. It's difficult not being able to add new exercises!

Z70%
by Z####:

If you could make sub headings to add different exercises. Over all I think the app is simple and effective.

Z70%
by Z####:

I add my sets x reps on the "notes section. Would be great if I could log them along the same line as the weight none the less, a great FREE app!!

W70%
by W####:

Great for recording your progress. The problem is that I can't export or backup my records.

Z70%
by Z####:

I've used this app exclusively for SS over the last 3mo and it works well and am happy with it. Some improvements would be to show me my last workout weight instead of the PR workout so I can see what I'm supposed to do for current workout without having to go into the history. I'd also like to see my previous work out for reference while I'm inputting current stats. I often open my input screen and start my workout only to need to delete it so I can go back and review what I did in my previous session.

A70%

Really like this but how to export or backup the history? Didn't manage even with adb. Make it possible to move it to SD or store data in an open folder instead of data/data.. Then you'll get 5 *

I70%
by I####:

Cant edit personal info... cant add my own exercises... What happened it ysed to be better

G70%
by G####:

I use this app to track my 'starting strength' progression. Is good for what it does. Ability to see graphs of progression over time and workput history, as well as notes to each workout. Does not allow modification of rep or set amounts, so if you go off the program you must track that elsewhere. Minimally intrusive advertisements. Ability to export data would be nice. All round, great app.

Q70%
by Q####:

Asus Zenfone 2. Suddenly can't add my own exercises anymore? Think because I'm missing a physical menu button

R70%
by R####:

I would rate this 5* if we could adjust the workout names or add an exercise. It's only major compound lifts but I'd like to track other exercises as well.

Q70%
by Q####:

Very simple tracker that doesn't waste time with unnecessary bells and whistles.

A70%
by A####:

Easy to use, unobtrusive ads, highly customizable. Highly recommend for 5x5 and 3x5 style strength training.

Q70%
by Q####:

The app is clean and easy. Would get 5 stars if it was possible to enter your own lifts. Ie.. Front squat, clean, snatch...

P70%
by P####:

Simple and basic feature set that works well. The option for sets or for the app to calculate warm up sets would be nice. Also, where's the Holo design, it is 2014.

B70%
by B####:

After trying out a few feature rich apps that just didn't suit my needs, was delighted to find Strong Log. Perfect!

M70%
by M####:

The only thing is that the menu has disappeared and now I'm unable to add new lifts.

N70%
by N####:

This app is pretty good. It's simple and works for most workout schedules. Good luck guys, and keep pushing it to the limit...

H70%
by H####:

But allow us to export our data as Charles Laing suggested.

N70%
by N####:

Please fix the crashes and add an export/import option. Materiel design refresh would be a plus. Otherwise the app is pretty simple and nice to use.

X70%
by X####:

This is a good app for recording all the strong weights I lift. Really easy to use and simple. The only thing I personally think it needs is more strongman events. Car lift as I have in my gym. Viking press. Overhead one arm lift. Farmers walk. Yolk. Extra things like this Add more and I will give 5 stars no issues there. Great app.

X70%
by X####:

Exactly what you would want in a app, easy to use, clean design, can create your own exercise, tracks progress, can input your stats and has a calender for easily checking long term progress! Been looking for a app like this for ages

X70%
by X####:

It does what it says it does. The only I would improve is make the graph a bit more customisable.

M70%
by M####:

No nonsense, no bs, stripped down app. Great for madcow, texas, or really any program.

X70%
by X####:

You can't add other workouts other than what is listed??? Deleting this app. Pointless.

I70%
by I####:

I tried to add my own movements as the description says you can, but I didn't find a way to do it. So you get the classic 5x5 stuff but it doesn't appear to support adding additional movements yet. When it does I will come back, but until then I need something more flexible.

X70%
by X####:

I don't like ads but I guess how else will they make money no ads would be a five

S70%
by S####:

Just what the doctor ordered. Better then the 5x5 and starting strength programs. Clear & functional, but I don't know if it automatically adds weight increments to your next workout yet (the starting strength program did). Regardless, this is a higher quality app

S70%
by S####:

Program works great and I love how quick the interface is. The software keeps messing with the last added workout once in a while, changing the name of it or not storing it. As result I find myself making sure that the last lift was stored next time.

S70%
by S####:

It does what it says it does. The only I would improve is make the graph a bit more customisable.

Q70%
by Q####:

Not bad. The pattern of the graph doesnt really follow the dots though

S70%
by S####:

Would be much better if I could track the reps and sets I did not just weight. With maybe a total tonnage option as well

S70%
by S####:

Quick and simple way to log your workouts, but no way to export your results (when changing devices).

S70%
by S####:

The option to have reps would be nice. Also, if you were successful on the lifts it automatically increases the weight for the next training session to keep you progressing. Other than that very simple and easy to use.

Good way to remember max lift. Using with 5/3/1
