Droid48 Reader for Android
I don't understand what to choose/open .lib or .s ?
A recent update added support for Lollipop and Marshmallow. Works with multiple users A must for Droid48..
If you have downloaded Droid48, you may have noticed it has no export feature. This app allows exporting and it also gives a peek of the calculator. It only works on GX mode. (for SX emulation, download droid48sx.) All kitkat and Lollipop users are supported,
It allows a user to export Droid48 files to the Android device. Check show hidden structures to enable objects in ports to be exported as backup objects. Droid48 Reader allows the user peak under the hood of Droid48 and to see temporary objects. It can also tell if the calculator memory on Droid48 is going bad, often before the calculator begins to misbehave. Everything serious should be archived with Droid48 Reader. Sooner or later Droi48 will crash just like the real calculator. If Droid48 Reader has been used to export the calculator can be recovered by importing.
This app is a must for Droid48 Users. It allows a user to backup data from Droid48 for archiving, sharing or even transfer to a real HP48S,SX,G,GX or G+! Work on the calculator should always be archived as the emulator, like the real calculator is subject to crashing. All of the HOME directory should be backed up. Use a name built of of today's date such as :3:MAR1816.D48 and execute ARCHIVE. This name tells when the archive was made. Click menu, Save Memory State. Start the Reader. (Make sure show hidden structures is on.) Since the name was tagged with 3 the archive is in Port 3 so click that icon. Long press MAR1816.D48. This will recall the HOME directory as a Backup object. Navigate to where you want to save it, adjust the filename and click SAVE. To recover click Put program on stack, naviagate to the directory (folder) where the archive is and click it. Backup MAR1816.D48 will appear. Execute RESTORE. Tap ON a few times and you are back in business.
Recently fixed to support the newer operating systems KitKat and Lollipop. This app now works for all Kitkat and Lollipop users
Highest recommendation Makes coding the droid 48 sane now 5/18/15 crashes after 5.11 update :( nexus 7 2013
Can not activate it!
This app is a must if you have Droid48. It allows you to save what you create to your built-in SD card. If you install Droid48 you owe it to yourself to install the Droid 48 Reader. To save the HOME directory with its subdirectories, enter a tagged name like :3:APR1214.D48 on Droid48 and execute ARCHIVE.Quit Droid48, start Droid48 Reader find the name APR1214.D48 in Port 3, Do a long press, select your file and presto! It's available on the SD card. Later on if you crash and lose you HOME directory from Droid48 do "Load on stack", select APR1214.D48, press ON, and you will see Backup APR1214.D48 on the stack. Execute RESTORE. After a warmstart you HOME directory with its subdirectories will be restored. Seems to force close on kitkst. Permission conflict?
This program is wonderful for letting you back up your saved programs/directories/libraries. I had a minor question concerning backup methodologies, and the developer emailed me back a detailed response in about 30 minutes. I cannot recommend this developer enough... I hope they develop more apps soon!

Droid 48 is a great program, and inability to export was one of the few weaknesses. This program fixes that.
Works perfectly.
