The following chapter gives a brief explanation of the different sections of the DMCA. This does not cover all of the sections in detail, but is a brief overview of the different sections of the DMCA.


Keep in mind that the text is a summary of the actual law. This is in no way to be construed as letter of the law. The author is not a lawyer, but a technical communicator attempting to take the law and make it easier to understand.
