About Ubuntu Pocket Guide

This app is a Pocket Guide to the Ubuntu Linux Operating System. Included in the app is shell commands, packages, key commands and many more. This App has the ability to search commands. Currently the favorites tray is not working but I have had so many request for updated UI that I put this out anyways.

Comments such as not needed, or useless do not help me improve my application. Please advise me as to why its not needed, why its useless. Thank you.

Just as eye-catching as Ubuntu and just as easy to use, this puts all of the most common terminal commands at your fingertips - courtesy of the brief descriptions, it is also a handy educational tool, backed-up by a powerful search feature! Highly recommended.

by R####:

It is not very helpful as a guide -- maybe a "cheat-sheet". For all of the commands I looked at, there was a one-line description. So, this is a crappy guide in the sense that you have to already understand what the commands does for the advice contained to really be any help. I expect more help from any reference that runs on a hand-held computer.

Nice app for quick reference to various Ubuntu commands. It would be helpful to provide some syntax examples, especially for terminal shell commands. Missing the "wget" command.

Can't read text on that background. keep the ui plain and simple. less is more. Also look at other guides for type of info that a guide is for

K70%
by K####:

The app lacks real substance. I would recommend including the switches and their functions with examples to create a truly useful pocket guide.

K70%
by K####:

Nice presentation, but lacks information on command flags and examples.

W70%
by W####:

Adding example uses to every command and switches options would make this a 5 star program

V70%
by V####:

No syntax? Even the explanation of what a command does... Far too poor for this to be considered helpful. Hate to bash ya, but for now it's an uninstall.

K70%

It is great. I saw commands i forgot about after not uaing them for years. GREAT JOB!!!

Thank you, I like the app, it will be even better if you can add a sample of the commands as they look on the terminal it selft. Other wise I find it very help full. Thank you

Please display the manual for each shell command. If possible talk about usage too. It will be greatly helpful if this is done.

The app is not very useful. Poor and limited options, no thorough explanation of entries. There are better sources of information, duh... +1 star given for no unnecessary permissions.
