La stranormanna è una gara podistica in ricordo di Marianna della Vecchia, scomparsa in tenera età a causa di un Tumore. Nata inizialmente come semplice stracittadina non competitiva, la stranormanna si è trasformata in una gara professionistica dove hanno aderito già centinaia di atleti. Tra i temi più importanti dell'evento ci sarà la prevenzione dei tumori, la valorizzazione del territorio e dei prodotti gastronomici.

La quarta edizione della stranormanna prevede due gare. La prima è riservata ad atleti professionisti e prevede un percorso di 10 km che si snoda per il centro storico, mentre la seconda è aperta a tutti, con un percorso di 3 km che attraverserà le bellezze di Aversa.

L'evento non si ferma solo alla gara podistica: all'interno del parco Pozzi infatti numerose società sportive allestiranno le loro palestre e, per finire, è prevista una serie di concerti.
