SmartVPN for Android
Once the router is properly configured this makes it really easy to establish a VPN connection over SSL. The fun bit is getting the router sorted - easy enough following the guides on their website (registration needed for some) for the very simple designs shown if you have some clue about IP networks, but if you have a more advanced design then it's a lot more fun and at times a lot of router restarts are needed so if you already have this in productive use there will be some disruption to users. I'm using a mixture of phones and tables running Android 6 and 7 and an internal CA (based on XCA) to create and sign the required SSL certs. I've found one minor issue with the optional server validation when when on Android 7.1 but otherwise this seems pretty solid.
Keeps launching whenever I try to use the internet. Phone rebooted. Autostart/reconnect switched off
This app drains more battery than my screen, I'm on a Galaxy S7 with Android 6.0.1 Please fix this application or create a new one.
Needs more configurable options. Specifically the ability to tell it when to engage our bit engage, eg not on 4G networks we trusted wifi networks
VPN connects quickly and reconnects when network changes from wifi to 4g
Well, works without hitch
Keep up the good work every one thanks more power
Very good & useful

Disconnects at any opportunity and does not reliably reconnect. I also found that on some networks it would route Internet browsing but if the local network is on the same IP range as the your vpn it splits the tunnel. As when typed in the IP of my remote router the local admin page came up. Yet if I went to a blocked page my remote router would block it.
Easiest use would be to run a connect/disconnect widget on the mobile desktop.
Fast and stable secure connection to office and home.
Appalling
Not the most stable app I used, but it works. A small fluctuation in the wifi signal already makes the tunnel disconnect.
After connected, it always broke when I play YouTube
Would be good if it work on tablet in landscape mode other than that works fine.
Apart from not working on Android Lollipop, the UI is awkward. Draytek has had problems with Android VPN for years and this does a little to help, but you get the feeling they don't really care.
Standard android vpn works perfectly with vigor router. Draytek version with same settings does not. Running S6 edge with android 5.1.1
Upgraded to Lollipop on G3, this client no longer connects, please fix.
SSL Tunnel works via Smart VPN client on PC, but when I try to connect from my Android device, the router immediately crashes and reboots. It would be really useful if you could start a tunnel automatically when the app opens. That way, we could have Tasker start the VPN whenever we are on a public network. An even better way would be to have an 'Always On' mode for 1 VPN Tunnel, with a list of networks where it should not create the tunnel, like when you are on your home network.
I've persisted with this but am unable to get it to work. I've ensured all SSL VPN settings are correct in the router. Back to the trusty built in VPN client LT2P over IPSEC.

It works fairly well for my 2930. I wish though there could be an online user guide or something. It will also be very useful if it can be configured to auto-connect only on WiFi (like iOS version of the same app) with also customizable exclusion. It can therefore auto-connect when I use public WiFi Hotspot but not home WiFi that I obviously trust.
