PF Battle for Android
Really good, only needs bestiary 4 and adventures
Allows me to easily pre-plan encounters and run them effortlessly, allowing more of a role-playing focus in sessions.
It's great but needs more monster manual support.
Exactly what I needed.
I hope to see more monsters added soon.
My only problems have been missing entries in a few monsters' description when I when I click on their special abilities and, more importantly, that when I switch my view from vertical to horizontal and back again the app crashes. One switch doesn't crash it, but two do. I have this on a Hisense Sero 7. Also, I would like it to listen to my "screen rotation lock" setting. ( it turns regardless of whether I have the screen rotation locked or not so that I encounter the crash problem whenever I set it down)
I have now purchased every Pathfinder related app produced by this author and they are all extremely useful and informative. I particularly like how the XP information is also provided to make reward calculation easier. Making NPC & monster mixes are simple and all bonuses and penalties are easy to add. As an advanced developer myself, I am happy to see quality work of this sort. This is yet another great app by an obviously great developer.
If you're a GM and not using this -- you're a fool. Trying to track all this on paper is just nuts! Having ALL the monster stats at your fingertips is awesome!
Love this app used it the first time last night for my players, but it would be nice if you could add base classes to some of these. Over all loved it 5 stars, but plz look into adding classes to the monster.
This is a smashing success of an app. It's the best thought-out combat app I've used. It adapts for both landscape and portrait use. The one thing I wish it had was a built-in Total CR display. It'd be pretty much perfect if, as you add enemies, it'd have a running total for the CR of the encounter.
I love this app, it's my new best friend. My pre-game prep time has been slashed and in-game, I'm spending less time fannyin' around looking in books for relevant rules. If you GM Pathfinder you'd be crazy not to use it.
Needs to have more options for creating monsters
This app is truly amazing and my DM uses it for all the battles in our games now. The only problem I have with it is that it does not follow the Google standards of Holo, and it would look even better if it did.
I've tried a dozen apps to manage PF encounters, this is the only one you need. Combined with the srd you won't need much else to play. The best part: the developer is still working on it! All the other apps I tried ended development half a year ago.
its a 5star no problem! Don't hesitate, this is THE best Pathfinder app to manage so many aspects of your encounters. $2.99? Best $3 I ever spent. I can't thank the developer enough!
Head on shoulders above everything else and pretty much what everyone wants when they think 'I wonder if I can get an app to do this.....' The next level would be the ability to save battles to an external location, they can then be shared - before you know it there is an online resource of battles from the paizo books for people to grab and also custom encounters - you need to fill an encounter to pad something out? Browse, download, run, everyone is happy. With this functionality the app could really become a cornerstone of Pathfinder gaming.
This app has saved me so much time as a GM that the amount I paid for it seems like a pittance. Being able to call up all the monster stats I need on the fly and handle complicated battles is amazing. Don't kid yourself into thinking that the free version is enough, go ahead and pay for the full version, you won't be sorry.
Really useful app. Clean interface, intuitive, and gets all the necessary info only one or at most two touches away. Currently excels with the stock (and template upgraded) bestiary entries. Ability to add fully fleshed out custom monsters / PCs would be even better. Update: new condition tracking system since last patch is excellent since conditions are just painful to track manually.
For an app made by a single individual, this one trounces most "professional" company apps. It was well worth the money and more if you are a DM, and it is just getting better.
I absolutely love this app. The database is super useful and the fact that there is pretty much all the data you could ever need about monsters during combat, this app is super helpful. Using this app, I probably shaved about 30 minutes off of my last combat session. It was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!
All in all, a really good start. Simple, efficient and easy to use. One thing this is missing is the ability to add things like haunts and environmental effects. Some better options for inputting custom creatures would've good too. And it would be really cool if you could download and import battles from the adventure paths and modules.
This app is really great ans have lots of potential but has some missong things that is just annoying not really a problem... Like editing the custom characters and adding more than 1 template but it's a really good start! Keep up the good work!
I use several apps by this developer and all have proven to be of wonderful quality. This is a wonderful tool that goes beyond initiative tracking. I would love to see the ability to sort monsters by type in a future update. The app would benefit from the ability to add delayed and readied conditions for initiative.

This app has a lot of potential and is a massive improvement on all the other combat manager apps available. Two things to make it five stars The ability to apply damage or healing to multiple monsters or characters at once To be able to import xml files from herolab or PCGen Well worth the money!
Could use a list of spells for bonuses and negatives like bless and bane.
I've never rated or reviewed an app before, but this one is a work of art. Simple layout, easy to use, all the important info at my fingertips, and I can plan an entire gaming session at a coffee shop without a single book at hand. And by the way, this developer's other apps are equally astoundingly awesome. Would have paid twice the price for this level of convenience. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Used regularly by my Dm makes the game progress that little bit quicker
Best combat tracker app i have found hands down.
This really helps me out. My only complaints are you can't add class lvl to monsters there is info missing on the description section of monsters. Waiting patiently for updates keep up the good work.
Does its job well and gives basic tools to handle non default mobs like those found in an adventure path. Will greatly simplify my DMing by allowing me to focus more on story instead of numbers.
I see a lot of reviews saying that this is really intuitive but maybe I'm missing something. Can the Dev put together a wiki or something that has instructions. It looks really powerful but it requires more explanation.

Very nice interface design and it's very convenient to set up fights ahead if time and not have to shuffle papers or crack a book at the table. Just the nicely rendered monster entries alone are worth the price.
I cannot seem to figure out how to indicate delay and readied actions. Showing which conditions are active on the card would be beneficial (I know there is not that much room but you typically don't have more than a couple active). Would be nice if buffs could be applied as well (like rage, haste, etc). Also the advanced template does not update the ability scores at all (seems to use the quick rebuild rules). Delay and ready would bump this up to 5 stars for me. Heck, I'd even be willing to pay more.
I like the app and the concept behind it, but I would love it if it was more customizable. For instance, the monster hit points default to the "average" value in the bestiary, but there isn't a good option to set it to max or to a custom value. I found the option to add bonus hit points, but that did not have the desired effect as after adding bonus HPs it stopped decrementing/incrementing when I would use the inflict/heal tools. I would also like the ability to import my own monsters and/or monsters from the other books. If the dev needs help I might be able to help get new monster files set up. Also, the way it calculates damage seems to be off. I was using it to run a combat last weekend and the app said my NPC got a +7 bonus to damage, but it rolled a damage total of something like 4. How is that possible with a minimum damage of 8 (1 from die roll + 7 from bonus)? Initial rating is a 3. Update with a fix to either thing I mentioned above and I'll revise to a 4...update both and I'll give it a 5.
I like it very much, it helps prepare and run battles for my games. Unfortunately I cannot rate it 5 stars because there are some things missing. - It is missing the familiar stats from the bestiary I, useful for adding a small animal such as a cat or hawk. It may be missing other mobs but for now this is what I saw. - There is no way to put a negative amount of initiative or save on custom characters or mobs, which is very inconvenient. Nonetheless it is still a good app. I do recommend it. I will be able to rate it 5 stars when at least the ''negative amounts'' issue has been resolved.
Makes running the game so much faster and easier. No more rifling through books, or Google searching the PRD. Also, nice that I don't have to print out monster stat blocks and keep them in line. I can simply arrange them by battle, and go from there. I also really enjoy keeping the base character stats (as separate 'mobs') on my device. It makes it much easier to roll initiative, but let the app take care of monster init. However, one thing I was looking forward too, was attaching images to the monsters. Unfortunately, it crashes the program every time I try (Google Nexus 7; Small Air Elemental). Also, it would be really handy to have the familiars as separate entries, so we could have some low-level animal creatures. As of right now, they are nowhere to be found.
This app is very robust and intuitively laid out which makes it a snap for a hurried user to put together a battle and manage it from a smart device. The support provided for Paizo OGL content is simply incredible. The only feature missing is an import of PC sheets from Hero Lab. I understand adding this feature can be troublesome and time consuming, however, given that Hero Lab is currently licensed to create PC sheets, I would think the developer would want to add this feature to generate more sales.

I'm finding the interface to be a bit confusing when switching between combat and adding monsters to an encounter, but the app is amazingly useful otherwise! Highly recommend it for every DM.
