NETGEAR Orbi

**** As mentioned by others, my 2 satellites are listed as N/A. The when unplugging the satellites, they reconnect with a solid blue light.**** While this review is about the app my comments are on the setup process. The base unit was easy to setup. The satellites are a different story. Multiple tries to get them communicating with the base. Once running, very fast WiFi connections in every room.

Since the app update, the app no longer works. I just get a white screen. This has happened on two new phones and through many uninstalls. It's no longer useful.

I'm having the same problem as other Users I get nothing but a white screen when I open the app. This did not Happen on my droid Turbo 2 only on my new Samsung Galaxy 8

Android app does NOT accept the CORRECT password. Worthless. And that email you keep telling everyone to reply to does not work!!!!

For some reason since firmware update I cannot see satellite on my phone through app

Worked fine on my note 5, but I have the note 8 now and it won't open....Just white screen. Genie works fine however.

Why do we need both this app and the Netgear Genie app? This app should do everything, including Remote Access which is missing. It should offer all settings on the app, not just a few features.

It doesn't work. My Orbi system is all set up and working fine. The app doesn't work, it just opens the list of wireless networks???

App no longer works, got a new phone uninstalled and then reinstalled now nothing happens hopefully they can get this fixed

Latest update was a failure, does not connect...

The Pause/Resume toggle switch doesnt work- whether on android or apple

Only complaint is Network map does not show all connected devices.

Since the latest firmware update, I can't connect to my Circle by Disney device. NetGear loaded the Circle software onto the Orbi. Now my only option is to use the Circle software on the Orbi & pay a monthly fee for the services I already paid for when I purchased the Circle device. NetGear needs to unblock access to the Circle device!

Network is set up and running fine, but I can not connect to the router through the app...

Some reviews say this app is an improvement over the initial. If that's the case, the original must have really been a letdown. This app doesn't allow the use to do much of anything. If this is what Netgear calls a positive user interface, they have a lot to learn. I wouldn't even call this app basic functionality because it really doesn't have a function.

Very easy process to obtain effective placement of the satellite(s). My Wi-Fi coverage in the house is excellent now across all three floors. SpeedTest results on wireless devices have jumped to a minimum of 220 Mbps on my 300 Mbps internet speed package on any floor or cormer in the house now, using a router and single satellite package setup (RBK30). Outstanding!!

Very simple setup for standard networks. Had to use website to change LAN IP address (I hate 192.168...)

The base system is very easy to setup. But, you need 3 different apps to fully manage it and do parental controls. That's unacceptable.

It just worked I have a more complicated than typical setup and ran once to update firmware, reset and ran again, then BAM, it just works and gives good connection strength and speed.

It's great for changing things up on the orbi's, setup however was easier to do on the computer after having to type in a specific IP address. Other than that it's great to make a guest wifi network, check what devices are connected and testing the speeds. The orbi's have improved my wifi significantly.

I was about to rate this 4 stars until I finally figured out how to rename devices via the built in http web interface. So with device renaming it's a 5. It would still be much better if I could do it from within the app as well.

It's as easy as advertised. Very happy with purchase. Solved my coverage problem in 15 minutes.

Tried Orbi... 3 months later had a hardware issue. Tried Linksys Velop.... Setup process made me cry. I returned the Velop and got an updated Orbi. Whew.

This device is beyond great it's awesome the WiFi capabilities is outstanding everything running smooth plus we upped our uploads and download speeds tremendously!!!!

Replaced Netgear Nighthawk router and extenders with Orbi and blown away with ease of setup and performance.

Good app for what I need, I like to monitor the internet speeds and various devices connected. This app covers those efficiently

Pretty good App. Used the web tool to setup the orbi router and satellite. But nice to monitor and setup guest network.

It's a good basic app, if you want advanced control login to the web portal, but for quick setup and changes the app works great.

Simple app. Haven't had the need to do anything with it other then monitor what's going on.

Totally worth the $. Replaced my xfinity modem and will not go back to their $10 fee for a product that does not produce proper speed.

Setup is straight forward and managing devices is a easy, fair amount of updates shows the effort being put in

Pretty great. Makes accessing your router a breeze. Also controls device access to the the internet. Great for monitoring kids.

I like it, and now I can stream at my dad's house!

Simple UI, but insufficient for more advanced setups.
